Among them, the theme exhibition "Rong Geng and Dongguan" exhibited at the Lingnan Art Museum shows the influence of Dongguan on Rong Geng's governance from three aspects: geography, kinship and karma, and for the first time comprehensively and systematically sorts out Rong Geng's circle of relatives, friends and teachers, and shows the development process of Rong Geng's "from words to artifacts, from artifacts to historical sites".

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition curatorial team has continued to carry out historical material excavation and research research for nearly a year, referring to 45 kinds of monographs and more than 50 papers, and deeply analyzing the reasons why Rong Geng's famous work "Jin WenBian" was written in Dongguan. Rong Geng, influenced by his uncle Deng Erya, believed that xi seal rule needed to be based on paleography, and when reading the books of the "Shuowen Ancient Supplement", he deeply felt that the content was mixed and the information was incomplete, so he produced the "Zhizhi of Supplementary Compilation". In 1925, the Jin Wen Bian was funded and printed by Luo Zhenyu's "Yi An Tang", and Deng Erya, Luo Zhenyu, Wang Guowei, Ma Heng, and Shen Jianshi wrote the preface to it. The book became the first monograph dedicated to gold glyphs, and achieved Rong Geng's academic status in the field of gold stone research.

The Ode to jai is partially sealed.

In addition, the "Square Inch Fine Engraving Of Ancient and Modern - "Song Zhai Tibetan Seal" Art Exhibition traces the origin of Rong Geng's scholarship - seal carving, with the curatorial concept of "a print is an exhibition", for the first time a comprehensive and systematic display of Rong Geng's Tibetan and Indian art. Based on the original stamp of "Song Zhai Tibetan Seal", supplemented by relevant documents and plutonium printing calligraphy and paintings, the exhibition interprets 176 famous seals engraved by Rong Geng for his own use and collection, showing his extraordinary achievements in printing, unique artistic appreciation and friendship with the sages of the printing altar, so that the audience can appreciate the beauty of seal engraving art.

"Ji Jin Ink Rhyme - Mr. Rong Geng's Old Collection of Bronze Ware Full-shaped Rubbing Exhibition"

The full-shaped rubbings exhibited in the exhibition are mostly made from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, with bronzes from the Shang Zhou to the Han Dynasty as the main objects of extension, including the rubbings of Rong Geng's own precious artifacts, as well as the collections obtained through purchase, exchange and donation, etc., with rich categories and excellent topography, and there is no shortage of masterpieces such as Chen Jieqi, Zhou Xiding, Wang Xiuren and so on.

For example, the zhou mao gongding full-shaped rubbing in the exhibit was made by the Qing dynasty epigrapher Chen Jieqi. It is reported that Mao Gongding is a bronze ware of the late Western Zhou Dynasty, named after the maker Mao Gong, with an inscription of nearly 500 words, the longest known bronze inscription, and has been collected by Chen Jieqi, Duan Fang, Ye Gongqi and other famous artists. The exhibit developed by Chen Jieqi is reasonably structured, suitable for thickness and lightness, and full of artistic beauty.

For another example, under the influence of traditional painting forms such as Bogutu and Qing dynasty, artistic expressions such as full-form expansion and supplementary scenery in the late Qing Dynasty began to be popular. The full-shaped rubbings of Wang Xuetao's supplementary painting in the exhibit were made by Zhou Xiding, a generation of three-dimensional pioneers, and Wang Xuetao, a famous modern Chinese small-scale freehand flower and bird painter, made up flowers in 1943. This kind of work that combines bronze rubbings with painting is quite creative, with a clear and elegant atmosphere in the simplicity.
