Securities Star August 19 news, in the fourth session of the 819 battery festival global live broadcast conference, Li Guohua, chief technology officer of Tianneng Group, said that the selection of new energy batteries in the technical route to take into account the cost and performance from the material, chemical system, power batteries mainly have nickel, cobalt and manganese ternary and lithium iron phosphate two major systems, both have their own strengths. First of all, the ternary system, the mainstream NCM622 system battery cell on the market, the energy density can reach about 230wh/kg, and the energy density of the battery pack after the group is about 140-160wh/kg. The energy density of the NCM811 series batteries can reach about 280wh/kg, but there are some difficulties in ensuring safety. If the silicon anode is used, the energy density can reach about 300~ 350wh/kg, but the cyclic expansion problem of the silicon carbon anode has not been completely solved, and the safety is more difficult. Speaking of lithium iron phosphate, the energy density of the mainstream lithium iron phosphate battery monomer on the market is between 150-180wh/kg, and the energy density of the battery pack is 95-120wh/kg. Although the energy density is lower than that of ternary, it has advantages in terms of safety and long life. In addition, due to its cost advantages, it is competitive in the fields of energy storage, low-speed vehicles, industrial vehicles and so on. In the past two years, the lithium iron phosphate battery market has picked up, and the growth rate has exceeded that of ternary batteries. At present, although the development of China's new energy industry has achieved certain first-mover advantages, there are still many shortcomings, and the core technology also needs to be broken.
