The movie "What a Home" tells a sad story:
In a court in a small Town in Lebanon, Zane, a 12-year-old Syrian refugee, was jailed for knife wounds, but with the support of a lawyer, Zane sued his parents for not being able to provide him with protection and security. Zane's parents were poor and could not afford to raise their children, but the family's children were born one by one. Because they are refugees, they cannot obtain identity cards, so Zane is a black household that is not eligible for a passport, unable to go to school and even in an emergency.

Zane, the eldest son in the family, is forced to work for a local grocery store to support himself and his younger siblings, and the grocery store owner has an evil interest in Zane's sister Saha. When Zane's parents sold their sister to a grocery store as a daughter-in-law, Zane once made plans to take his sister to escape, but the plan did not succeed, watching his sister being taken away, the extremely sad Zane ran to a seaside town, where Zane met the Ethiopian woman Tigers, she is a kind person, her life is slightly better than Zane, Tigers concealed that she has a one-year-old son Yunas, in order to escape the surveillance of employers and government departments, she has been putting the child on the shopping cart while working, She lives in a small shed made of plastic and gravel, trying to earn money for an ID card.
Zane takes care of Yunus
At this very difficult time in life, Tigers took Zane in, asked Zane to help her with her children during the day, and came back at night to cook for them, and when Yunus was one year old, Tigers secretly picked up a leftover cake from a guest from the hotel and gave Yunus a birthday. One day, Tigers went out to call her mother to tell her she couldn't send money home on time this month (because he had to save money for a legal document), and was taken away by the police.
Zane didn't wait until the next day for Tigers to come home, he had to take Yunus to the place where Tigers worked to find him, and even Aspro, who had applied for a false certificate for Tigers, but he didn't find him.
With no food and no water, 12-year-old Zane took 1-year-old Yunus around looking for traces of Tigers until the hut they had rented was taken back and the two began a wandering life.
Zane and Yunus live on the streets
However, life is too cruel, and finally under the inducement of Aspro, Zane gives Yunus to Aspro, hoping to meet a good family to adopt, and when he leaves, Zane reluctantly hugs Yunus and kisses her cheek.
Zane was ready to save money to buy documents for immigration, but the id card materials were needed to apply for documents, and Zane returned home to find his identity materials, but did not find it but accidentally learned that his sister Saha died because of difficult childbirth, because there was no ID card, the hospital could not receive treatment. Zane took the knife and rushed out of the house, slashing the grocery store owner... The story returns to the scene at the beginning of the film, where Zane sues his parents for failing to fulfill their guardianship and parenting responsibilities.
At the end of the film, Tigers' son Yunas is caught by the police on his way abroad, and mother and son are reunited. Because of the intervention of the media, Zane finally obtained a legal document, and his face began to be full of despair and helplessness when taking pictures, when the photographer reminded him that this was the passport photo, Zane's face showed the smile that a child should have, so innocent, as beautiful as a flower bone ready to open against the sun.
Zane laughed
In the film, the little boy who plays Zain, named Zane ▪ Alrafia ▪, was born in Syria, a Syrian refugee, and at the Cannes Film Festival, he said that "acting is simple". Because these are his lives, what he really experiences, he just needs to play himself.
Zane in the play
The child who plays Yunus is a one-year-old girl who, like the character in the play, is a Kenyan kurodo who was deported from the film with her mother after the film was completed.
Zane and Yunus in the play
The younger sister Saha is played by a little girl who sells chewing gum on the street. Even the so-called "group performances" in the play are real refugees, real people living in such an environment.

At this point, although the story is over, the painful experience of the refugees living in Lebanon who have the same fate as Zane in real life continues, the famine they face every day, the worried life, the injustice of society, turmoil, insecurity, no sense of belonging, at the bottom of society, a difficult life...
Children in war, their faces are still full of innocence
Is Zane suing his parents? I think there is also this society, in the days when survival is difficult to maintain, the evil of human nature is often stimulated, and no one is born bad, because the surrounding environment and the surrounding environment are forced to do so. Zane initially treats Yunus like a brother, but later, under the pressure of survival, difficulties, and helplessness, he has to sell Yunus to traffickers to obtain money for his own emigration.
Children in war
Were Zane's parents inherently bad? If there is a good place to live, a stable job, a stable society, I think they will also send to ensure that the children have food, school, and legal status...
Through Zane's accusation, the film makes us think about who really should be accused, because Zane is a child, he can only face to face to face to ask his parents, why they were born and not raised, and rose to the height of the movie, is it just to tell us the story of a child, a family? Of course not!
Zane's family is refugees, Syrian refugees, seeing this, what does everyone think?
Damascus after the bombing
The outbreak of the Syrian war is the source of the tragic life of the Syrian people, originally a country's civil war, but there are so many good neighbors around to see the lively, but also from time to time to add some oil, add a little vinegar, afraid that people are not fierce enough, have extended their hands, to see if people will throw out some family property when they fight, some even take advantage of the chaos into the backyard of people to carry the oil cylinder, rice cylinder ... There are thousands of miles away, and the hands are not short, I am afraid that I will not be able to get a piece of the pie.
In April 2017, when more than 60 U.S. cruise missiles landed in Damascus, did it take into account the innocent people of that land?
The United States bombed Syria
In September 2018, when the 110 missiles of the United States, Britain and France fell into Syrian soil, did it consider how many years of history the buildings on that land were precipitated, and how much wisdom and sweat of the Syrian people.
Damascus early morning after being bombed
No matter how well the ugly face is disguised, the viciousness of the soul will always be exposed. In the international community, it flaunts national sovereignty, but throws the bomb of power into the territory of other countries; advocates democracy and freedom, but has repeatedly reached out to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries; emphasizes the rights of the people, but discriminates against foreign nationalities and oppresses indigenous peoples in the locality. Think about how five hundred years ago, when you set foot on other people's land, others treated you kindly, raised, fattened, and bit back like a snake.
After watching the movie, I couldn't cry, I just felt a stone pressing against my chest. However, after a long time, I still can't calm down for a long time in retrospect.
Once, so beautiful Damascus roses, I hope to reopen the land of Damascus in the near future.

We are also countries that have come out of war and know how important peace is to a country. In the past hundred years or so, our country and nation have been deeply experienced by foreign aggression and aggression, so we hope that those countries with too long hands and legs will take care of their own affairs, do not patronize and take advantage, and take a good look at their backyards and do not catch fire.
I hope for world peace and the people away from war!
