Today, just nag my hometown Li Jia Yan Village! Bi Limei, the head of the Dream-chasing Youth Volunteer Service Team in Zhoucun District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, and a "post-80s" rural youth, said with a happy face.

"I married into Li Jia Yan Village in 2005. At that time, our village was well known in every direction, because there were abundant coal, clay and coke gem resources under the village. According to the elders, in the early 1950s, the villagers began to mine refractory clay and scorched gemstones, and since then they have gradually developed into the pillar industry of the village. Li Jia Yan Village is located in Zibo City, Shandong Province, Zhoucun District, Wangcun Town West 309 National Highway 478 kilometers, known as the "Zibo West Gate", Qinglong Mountain, Phoenix Mountain, Leopard Mountain Three Mountains Arch Show, Qingyang River Water, Leopard Mountain Water Stream surrounded, with a relatively ideal landscape shape system, the cultural style is basically well preserved.
Bi Limei has lived in Lijiayan Village for 16 years, and she has witnessed earth-shaking changes in the village: the widening and hardening of old streets; the construction of parks in the village; the installation of street lamps on both sides of the street... From 2006 to 2010, five four-storey residential buildings were built in the village. The whole village has access to natural gas and the Internet, the health conditions of the villagers are improving day by day, and there are more and more long-lived elderly people in the village.
Lijiayan Village has a long history and profound cultural heritage. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Wang family built the Wang family manor, and most of the Ming and Qing building complexes have been preserved to this day. In 2010, it was awarded "China's Famous Historical and Cultural Village" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and in 2012, it was rated as the first batch of "Chinese Traditional Villages" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance. Based on the original ancient villages, Li Jia Yan has continuously improved the tourism facilities and become a unique landscape in Zibo City.
With the support and help of the relevant departments at the higher level, Li Jia Yan Village was included in the first batch of "Rural Memory" project culture list in the province by the Propaganda Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and nine other departments in May 2015. Construction began in October 2015 and the Lee Ka Yan Rural Memory Museum was completed in September 2016 to record the past and present lives of Lee Ka Wan Village. The museum is composed of a prologue hall, the memory of the village, the memory of the family, the memory of entrepreneurship, the memory of life, the memory of culture, the tail hall and the courtyard landscape, with historical development as the main line, and the historical development process of Lijiayan Village is displayed in the form of physical objects, exhibition boards and real scene reconstruction. Villagers live in spacious and bright buildings, everyone has a car, everyone has a mobile phone, every household has a deposit, and the degree of civilization in the village is getting higher and higher.
"Small kindness can make the world a better place." When kindness becomes a habit in life, happiness is like a trickle, overflowing in the eyes all the time, pleasing yourself, and also happy others, infecting society. Bi Limei said: "As a good young man in the countryside, I must have strength under my feet and responsibility on my shoulders." I want to build a better village, make the villagers' lives happier, and contribute their youth to the development of their hometown. ”
With this good wish, In 2016, Bi Limei spontaneously organized a cohesive public welfare team with love, the Youth Volunteer Service Team. In the past few years, the public welfare road has been highly praised by leaders at all levels and supported and recognized by teammates. Bi Limei was named an outstanding volunteer in Zhoucun District in 2016 and 2017, a good rural youth in Zibo City in 2018, a provincial rural good youth in 2019, and a good youth in Zibo City in 2020, and won the Nomination Award for the May Fourth Youth Medal of Zhoucun District.
During the epidemic prevention and control period in 2020, Bi Limei took the initiative to donate money and materials to the village; on Mother's Day, she took her son to give holiday gifts to the elderly over 80 years old in the village; in the Spring Festival of 2021, when she learned that Grandma Zhang's son in the village was in a different place and could not go home to accompany the elderly for the New Year, Bi Limei organized her teammates to accompany Grandma Zhang with ingredients and Spring Union to spend a warm and happy reunion year. She also gave four-piece bedding to the elderly in the village; this year's Women's Day, Bi Limei sent holiday gifts to the female sanitation workers in the village...
"My son is 15 years old and is a middle school student. He often asked me: Mom, how can I contribute to my hometown? I told him that if you really want to contribute to your hometown, you have to study hard and study hard.
