Nearly halfway through the semester, many parents are concerned about when to take winter break. At present, the holiday time of schools in many provinces and cities has been determined, and today (November 2) the winter vacation schedule of primary and secondary schools in Beijing was announced.

Beijing winter vacation time: January 30, 2021 - February 28, 2021

Semester 1: Starts on September 1, 2020 and ends on January 29, 2021, with a total of 21 weeks and 4 days.

The winter holidays start on January 30, 2021 and end on February 28, 2021.

Semester 2: Starts on March 1, 2021 and ends on July 14, 2021, with a total of 19 weeks and 3 days

The summer vacation starts on July 15 and ends on August 31.

In case of special circumstances, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission will study and adjust the school calendar in accordance with relevant regulations.

In the event that the Emergency Office of the Municipal Government issues a red warning of heavy air pollution and other red warnings of extreme weather, the district education committees should take corresponding countermeasures according to the actual pollution situation in the region in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Beijing Municipal Education Commission Emergency Plan for Heavy Air Pollution" (revised in 2018), and guide primary and secondary schools and kindergartens to do relevant work.

Winter vacation time in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province: January 29, 2021 to February 21, 2021.

Winter vacation in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province: Starting on January 30, 2021 and ending on February 21, 2021.

Guangdong primary school junior high school winter vacation time: January 25, 2021 to February 21, 2021.

Shandong winter vacation time: February 1, 2021 compulsory education students winter vacation began, February 4, ordinary high school, secondary vocational school winter vacation began.

Winter vacation time in Chengdu, Sichuan: The compulsory education stage is from January 28 to February 28, 2021, and the high school is slightly later than 2 days, and the holiday begins on January 30.

Jiangxi Nanchang winter vacation time: February 4, 2021 to February 26, 2021.

Shanxi Taiyuan winter vacation time: January 30 to February 27, 2021.

Yunnan winter vacation time: primary and secondary school students will be no later than January 23, 2021, the ninth grade will be no later than January 30, and the school start time will be unified as February 28, 2021.

Guizhou winter vacation time: January 3, 2021 to March 1, 2021, the ninth grade due to the middle school entrance examination preparation is slightly later from January 30, 2021 to February 22, 2021.

Winter vacation time in Hangzhou, Zhejiang: Winter vacation will begin on February 5, 2021. The registration period for the second semester of the 2020 academic year is February 28, 2021.

Winter vacation time in Ningbo, Zhejiang: Primary and junior high schools are closed on February 1, 2021; General High School and Vocational High School (Technical School) are closed on February 4, 2021. Elementary schools, junior high schools, general high schools, and vocational high schools (technical schools) are scheduled to open on February 25, 2021.

Winter vacation time in Wenzhou, Zhejiang: Winter vacation from February 2, 2021.

Winter vacation time in Jiaxing, Zhejiang: Compulsory primary and secondary schools and secondary vocational schools will have winter vacation on February 1, 2021; ordinary high schools will have winter vacation on February 5, 2021. Compulsory primary and secondary schools, ordinary high schools, and secondary vocational schools will report on February 21, 2021 and open on February 22, 2021.
