Gulliver's Travels is a satirical novel by the English writer Jonathan Swift, published in 1726. Gulliver's Travels is a fantasy travel novel written by the protagonist Gulliver's voyage to four different countries.

In 1699, Gulliver sailed to the South Pacific. Due to the misfortune of being in distress in the middle of the way, he came to the villain country and was tied up by the villain and dedicated to the king. Another villain, Country B, is preparing to invade Country A, Gulliver dragged the enemy ship back to the port of Country A and made a battle achievement, but Gulliver was unwilling to destroy B, and with the fire in the Queen's Palace, Gulliver soaked urine to extinguish the fire, which made the king and queen very annoyed. The villain monarch prepares to get rid of Gulliver, gulliver hears the wind, escapes and returns to England safely.

Gulliver went to sea again and was unfortunately killed and came to the kingdom of adults. Gulliver was captured by a giant farmer and eventually taken to the capital to sell to the Queen. Gulliver briefed the king on the situation and history of England, but was rejected by the king one by one. He took a chance to escape, was found by a passing ship, and after Gulliver was rescued, took the boat back to England.

Later, Gulliver was rescued by the people on the flying island when he was in distress again. Gulliver left Flying Island and visited the "Lagerdo Academy of Sciences" in Balni Babi, an island under flying island rule. The academy of sciences studied absurd topics, resulting in desolation throughout the country, collapsing houses, and leaving the people without food or clothing. Then Gulliver came to Witch Island. The magic-savvy governor allowed him to meet many famous people in ancient times, and found that many of the records in the history books did not correspond to historical facts, or even were not reversed. Later, Gulliver met the Immortals in the Kingdom of Ragnarok. After leaving the country, Gulliver came to Japan and then took a boat back to England.

Gulliver once again went out to sea and drifted to the "Country of Wisdom". The wise horse, the "Wise Horse", is the rational inhabitant and ruler of the country, while the "Yehu", shaped like a man, is a beast raised and enslaved by the horse. Gulliver was influenced by the virtues of "HuiHua" and wanted to stay in the "Huihua" country. However, the National Congress of the "Huihua" state passed a resolution to eliminate Yehu there. So Gulliver's wish could not be fulfilled. In desperation, Gulliver had to leave the country in a small boat and return to Britain. Gulliver had a yearning for the "Kingdom of Wisdom" and had been friends with horses all his life.

Gulliver's Travels is ostensibly a fantasy travelogue novel, but in fact it is a satirical reality novel. Through his novels, Swift ruthlessly attacks the darkness of British society, the decay and fainting of the ruling class, the meaningless partisan struggles in Parliament and the frenzied plundering and brutal exploitation of Britain in the primitive accumulation of capital, as well as the heinous crimes committed by Britain in its war of aggression against the colonies.

In the villain country, in order to win the king's favor, the minister put down his face and dressed as a clown to dance for a high position; the two parties quarreled endlessly, and the difference was the size of the shoe; the two villain countries launched a war because they should break the big end or the small end when eating eggs; the king was bent on using Gulliver to destroy the villain country B, and after being rejected, he actually took revenge to kill Gulliver. Swift used Gulliver's observations and experiences in the villain country to satirize the decay and absurdity of the British ruling class, the rulers' ignorance and only concern for personal pleasures and luxurious lives, the flattery in the official arena, the mutual inclination, only for the sake of being a high-ranking official, not for the benefit of the people, not to select officials based on practical ability, the parties to carry out pointless and meaningless struggles for power all day long, the rulers brutally launched wars of aggression, causing heinous crimes against the colonial people.

In the Kingdom of Lords, Gulliver gave a generous statement to the King, introducing the glorious and great history of England for a hundred years, but the History of England for nearly a hundred years was full of "greed, partisanship, hypocrisy, faithlessness, brutality, anger, madness, resentment, jealousy, lust, insidiousness and ambition" and its consequences. Gulliver used the king's mouth to expose and criticize britain's history of more than a hundred years is nothing more than the greedy and cruel exploitation of the ruling class, the endless ugly party struggle for political interests, the hypocrisy, cruelty, hypocrisy of the rulers and the bureaucracy, the unscrupulous abandonment of conscience, human integrity and shameless face for the sake of interests, and the vicious history of the rulers who brutally launched foreign wars of aggression for the sake of wealth and luxury life, plundering colonial wealth and resources, and the cruel, greedy, and brutal history of the rulers and the bourgeoisie. There is no true portrayal and reflection of conscience and human nature.

In the flying island countries, Gulliver saw at the Lagerdo Academy of Sciences a group of absurd scientific research that was divorced from reality and useless to the development of real life and productive forces, which not only failed to promote national development, but also caused poverty in the country and the hardships of people's lives. Gulliver used this to satirize the academic retreat, unrealistic, useless and detached from the people and practical life, satirizing the decay of the British scientific and academic system, divorced from reality, without any practical use.

In the Kingdom of Hui, humans who originally ruled over animals became ruled livestock, and horses became rulers. Gulliver uses the description of the human beings known as Yehu in the Huihua kingdom to ruthlessly satirize the distortion and ugliness of people's human nature under the evil capital system, unscrupulous means for the sake of monetary interests, abandoning conscience and human nature, greed, cruelty, selfishness, ruthlessness, lack of integrity and morality, borrowing the various virtues of the Wise Horsemen in the HuiHua Kingdom and the ideal society in the HuiHua Kingdom, expressing the yearning and pursuit of the ideal society, and the expectation and sustenance for the restoration of goodness and purity of human nature.

Gulliver's Travels satirizes the dark social reality of England at that time, the rulers are faint, decadent, absurd, brutal, cruel exploitation and oppression of the people, political parties are fighting each other for political interests, not for the benefit of the people, divorced from reality, no practical use, the hypocritical scientific academic system, the brutal exploitation and crazy plundering of the primitive accumulation stage of the British bourgeoisie, and the heinous crimes committed in order to seize colonial wealth and resources. Gulliver's Travels is a ruthless attack and lashing out at the dark social reality of Britain at that time, and is a huge satire of dark reality.
