In order to further improve the professional quality and professional skills of nursery teachers, enhance the scientific concept of childcare, better standardize the process of childcare work, and create a positive and uplifting, good working atmosphere of joint cooperation between nursery and education, on October 14, 2021, the Helen International Campus of South Station Kindergarten launched a nurseryman skills competition with the theme of "nursery and nursery, love show style". The competition adopts the form of combining theory and practice, and mainly focuses on four links: "Q&A Competition", "Practical Competition", "Scenario Drill" and "Fruit Platter".
The competition officially began, and the first part was the quiz session. The competition topics cover the professional ethics of childcare workers, class safety management, daily health care, cleaning and disinfection, and children's meals and other knowledge related to childcare work. The nursery teacher answered in the form of a preemptive answer, which tested the nursery teacher's grasp of the theoretical knowledge of the knowledge of the knowledge.
The second link is the practical competition, which is divided into three parts: making the bed, disinfecting the table and chair, and combing the hair. During the competition, the teachers raced against the clock and were methodical, and the quilt flatness, proficiency, completion time, proportion concentration of disinfectant, configuration method, disinfection order, standardization, cleanliness and other aspects of the tabletop disinfection showed the best level.
The third link is the scenario drill session. Several teachers played some of the emotional changes that occur in the kindergarten, such as the children entering the kindergarten crying, wanting to find their mothers, unwilling to eat, etc., testing how the nursery teachers deal with these unexpected situations. During the competition, the nursery teachers observed the subtleties, reflecting the serious responsibility for the work, being able to find various situations of young children in time, and being able to make corresponding countermeasures to these situations, solving these problems well, and showing the teacher's love, patience and sense of responsibility for young children.
The final step is the fruit platter. Although cutting fruit is a very simple thing in life, doing every little thing day after day is an extraordinary big thing. Cutting fruit is also one of the essential skills of nursery teachers, fruit knives in their hands with ease, quick peeling, cutting, plate, making a rich variety of fruit platters, with whimsical creative fruit cakes, some Chinese maps, and the national flag fluttering in the wind, it is really eye-catching.
This competition is a major review of the skills of the nursery team teachers, and also provides a platform for the nursery team teachers to learn from each other and communicate with each other, which not only improves the professional skills of the nursery staff, but also enhances their sense of responsibility. In the future work, the South Station Kindergarten Helen International Campus will further implement the educational principle of "combining care and education, and attaching equal importance to education", continue to strengthen the rules of childcare work, standardize the work process of childcare, promote the refinement, proceduralization and standardization of kindergarten health care work, continuously improve the level of childcare, and escort the healthy growth of young children.
