Looking back at the past five years, our county has focused on the positioning of the main agricultural product production areas in the province, with the acceleration of the construction of the "653N" characteristic agricultural system as the starting point, taken multiple measures to do a good job in the "agriculture +" article, vigorously developed characteristic agriculture, facility agriculture, sightseeing agriculture, and experience agriculture, focusing on creating "6 million mu" characteristic agricultural product advantage areas such as "10,000 mu of rice, 10,000 mu of olives, 10,000 mu of oil tea, 10,000 mu of taro, 10,000 mu of tea, and 10,000 mu of citrus", and cultivating "five major industrial parks" such as poultry eggs, plum olives, jasmine tea, tazhuang powder, and smart food. And the "three major service centers" of the three rural service supermarkets, olive trading centers, and seedling and flower trading centers have comprehensively promoted the "five small" characteristic agricultural projects of "small and excellent, small and beautiful, small and special, small and refined, small and high", and achieved good results.

From 2016 to 2020, the added value of primary production increased from 2.77 billion yuan to 3.62 billion yuan, an increase of 30.6%; the per capita disposable income of farmers increased from 12168 yuan to 17204 yuan, an increase of 41.3%. In the first half of 2021, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in our county was 1.479 billion yuan, an increase of 5% over the previous year, and the added value of primary production is expected to be 828 million yuan, an increase of 4.2%.

Agricultural business entities are growing day by day. Up to now, there are 487 farmers' cooperatives in the county, including 1 national-level demonstration society, 14 provincial-level demonstration society, 23 municipal-level demonstration society, and 30 county-level demonstration society. There are 342 family farms, including 14 provincial-level demonstration farms, 9 municipal-level demonstration farms, and 18 county-level demonstration farms. There are 72 leading agricultural enterprises, including 11 at the provincial level, 27 at the municipal level and 34 at the county level. At the same time, the development quality of relevant agricultural business entities has been significantly improved, and the county has obtained a total of 32 pollution-free agricultural product origin certificates and 13 green certifications. There are 2 national geographical indication products (dried tea powder and Minqing olives), and 4 well-known agricultural product brands in Fuzhou.
The village-level collective economic income has been comprehensively improved. Through the implementation of the three-year action of developing and expanding the village-level collective economy, 340 village collective income increase projects have been implemented in accordance with the "one village, one policy". In 2018, the 75 "empty shell villages" in the county have all removed their hats as scheduled; in 2019, the collective annual operating income of 271 administrative villages in the county has been higher than 50,000 yuan; in 2020, the collective annual operating income of 271 administrative villages has reached more than 100,000 yuan, and 65 villages have reached more than 200,000 yuan. In 2021, it is planned that there will be more than 50 administrative villages with an annual operating income of more than 500,000 yuan. The only national and local protected breed in Fuzhou, the Minqing wool-footed chicken, has been effectively preserved and purified, and has achieved industrialization and large-scale development. Cage culture in the Shuikou reservoir area has completed the upgrading and transformation of 10,000 square meters, further strengthening the long-term management mechanism of aquaculture waters and optimizing the cage layout in the reservoir area.

The traditional agricultural industry has gradually transformed and upgraded. A number of production demonstration bases have been established around the six leading industries of grain, vegetables, fruits, tea, livestock and poultry and aquatic products, and the construction of agricultural industrial parks such as the Xiazhu Orange Forest Poultry Egg Industrial Park, the Tazhuang Powder Dried Industrial Park, the Jasmine Tea Industrial Park, and the Jinsha Food Intelligent Processing Park has been launched. Actively explore and promote industrial development models such as "enterprise + base + farmer", "company + farmer" and "professional cooperative", and promote the standardization, industrialization and brand operation of agricultural products. Among them, the Haixi Hui Agricultural Cooperative ranked 56th among the top 500 national cooperatives, driving the efficient and sustainable development of the whole industrial chain of taro, citrus, olives and other bulk agricultural products in the county.

The construction of strong towns with olive characteristic industries has achieved remarkable results. The "China Fuzhou (Minqing) Olive Festival" was successfully held for 4 consecutive years, and Minqing olives were awarded the "Most Influential Agricultural Product Brand in China" with a value of 2.156 billion. Meixi Town was awarded the honorary titles of "National Agricultural Industry Strong Town" and "National One Village, One Product Demonstration Village and Town" by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The total income of the agricultural economy of Meixi Town reached 810 million yuan, and the output value of the olive industry chain reached 650 million yuan, accounting for 80%. The total number of agricultural households in the town is 4024, and the number of olive industry households is 2934, accounting for 73%. Among them, Baihejiang Natural Village has an average annual income of more than 200,000 yuan (ranked third in the country) through olive cultivation, which has become a microcosm of the rural industry in Minqing.

Formulated and issued the "Opinions on the Implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy of Minqing County" and the "Special Action Plan for the Rural Revitalization Strategy of Minqing County", compiled the "Minqing County Rural Revitalization Plan (2018-2022)", and identified 27 key tasks around the "20-character policy" and "eight major actions" of rural revitalization, and planned to build 19 provincial-level and 29 municipal-level rural revitalization pilot demonstration villages in the past three years. In 2020, a total of 207 provincial and municipal pilot construction projects and 103 municipal pilot construction projects will be implemented, with a total investment of 83.8178 million yuan.
