The harm of natural bees

author:Shanghai Bee Breeding Research Base

In late spring and early summer, bees develop to the peak period, which produces natural bee fever, which has formed a law. Failure to take precautions has a great impact on beekeeping production.

(1) Where there is a bee colony with bee fever, the attendance of worker bees is greatly reduced, the number of bees in front of the nest gate increases, and the phenomenon of sabotage occurs, which has a great impact on the development of the later group and the production capacity of the bee colony.

(2) If there is a split bee during the honey flow period, the strong group immediately becomes a weak group, and the honey production drops greatly, which will cause significant losses to the bee farm.

(3) After the emergence of bee fever, the queen bee lays eggs and shrinks, which is bound to affect the individual reproduction of the bee colony. At this time, if measures are not taken in time, the queen bee will lead about half of the worker bees to fly away from the original nest and build a new nest, causing the danger of the bee colony escaping, and it is also very troublesome to capture the sub-bee swarm.

(4) In the case that the bee-splitting fever is not lifted, if the bee-splitting method is controlled by the method of destroying the platform for a long time, and the preparation period of the bee-sharing stage is artificially extended, the number of bees and the number of sub-spleens in the bee colony will show a downward trend, which is also extremely unfavorable to the development of the bee colony and the production of beekeeping.
