Present at the appointment ceremony were Chen Jianxin, deputy director of the Quanzhou Municipal Narcotics Control Commission, executive deputy director of the Narcotics Control Office, and deputy director of the Public Security Bureau; Hong Chaoming, deputy director of the Quanzhou Narcotics Control Office and head of the anti-narcotics detachment; Zhang Guisen, mayor of the Nan'an Municipal Government and director of the Narcotics Control Commission; Zhang Hanyi, vice mayor of the Nan'an Municipal Government, deputy director of the Narcotics Control Commission, and director of the Public Security Bureau; and Li Fabin, leaders of member units of the Nan'an Narcotics Control Commission and Olympic champion; and other guests, as well as some student representatives and anti-narcotics volunteers.
In recent years, with the continuous deepening of the anti-narcotics work, the people's war against narcotics has attracted more and more attention from party committees and governments at all levels and the attention of the whole society. Drugs are a public nuisance to human society, which not only seriously infringes on people's physical health, erodes people's will, and destroys family happiness, but also seriously consumes social wealth, poisons the social atmosphere, pollutes the social environment, and at the same time easily induces a series of criminal activities. The Nan'an Municipal Narcotics Control Commission specially invited Mr. Li Fabin, an Olympic champion, to serve as the image ambassador of the anti-narcotics propaganda in Nan'an City, so as to comprehensively improve the influence of anti-narcotics propaganda and enhance the awareness of the broad masses of people in drug awareness, drug prevention and drug refusal.
