Reuters quoted the European Drug Administration as saying on the 11th local time that the European Drug Administration is currently investigating 3 new side effects that may be triggered by the Pfizer and Modena new crown vaccines, namely erythema multiforme (an acute, inflammatory skin disease), glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome.
The European Drug Administration has now asked Pfizer and Modena to provide more data in order to analyze possible links between vaccination and the above conditions. However, the European Drug Administration has not yet disclosed the specific number of cases of the above conditions after receiving the relevant vaccines.
The European Drug Administration said in early July that there was an association between heart inflammation and vaccination against Pfizer and Modena. After receiving the Pfizer and Modena COVID-19 vaccines, myocarditis and pericarditis may occur in very rare cases. The committee recommends adding both symptoms of myocarditis and pericarditis to the side effect information of vaccine products, and warning medical staff and those preparing to receive the relevant vaccines.
