On October 12, 2021, Huang Bin, director of the Basic Department of Suzhou Emergency Management Bureau, led a team to Xiangcheng District to carry out special supervision and inspection of deep well foundry enterprises, accompanied by relevant personnel of Xiangcheng District Emergency Management Bureau and territorial comprehensive law enforcement bureau.
The supervision team successively inspected three deep-well casting enterprises in the Economic Development Zone Yuantai Nonferrous Metals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Suzhou Mingheng Metal Technology Co., Ltd. in Huangdai Town, and Suzhou Chuangtai Alloy Material Co., Ltd. in the Suzhou Phase Cooperation Zone, and focused on inspecting the construction and use of gas pipeline facilities, the safety management of key limited space areas, the implementation of safety production during the energy dual control period and the on-site safety management of the foundry workshop by asking the person in charge of the enterprise and the on-site inspection method.
The supervision group urges enterprises to firmly establish a sense of safe production, strictly implement the main responsibility of enterprises, further enhance the predictability of hidden dangers of accidents, conscientiously carry out the identification of safety production risks and the investigation and management of hidden dangers, especially to do a good job in safety management and emergency disposal during the energy dual control and parking period, take resolute, powerful and pragmatic measures, make every effort to do a good job in safety precautions, and resolutely build a "firewall" for safe production.
In the next step, in accordance with the requirements of the supervision group, the emergency management of Xiangcheng District will further increase the intensity of law enforcement inspections in key areas of industry and trade such as deep well casting, always maintain a high-pressure situation of law enforcement, implement administrative penalties, suspension of production and rectification, prohibition and closure measures in accordance with the law, severely crack down on illegal acts of enterprises, make every effort to suppress general production safety accidents, effectively prevent and curb larger accidents, and effectively maintain social security and stability in our region.
