Parents are the first teachers of young children, and kindergarten education is an important stage of children's growth. In order to further strengthen the home connection, promote the healthy growth of young children, give full play to the joint force of home education, improve the quality of parents and the ability to educate their children scientifically. On October 20-22, 2021, Zhuantang Kindergarten Zhongcun Park held a three-day parent school and parents' meeting for kindergarten, kindergarten and kindergarten.
At 6:30 p.m., the lights in the Zhongcun Park of Zhuantang Kindergarten were bright, parents and friends arrived as promised, and carefully checked in at the teacher's office, in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, we opened this semester's parent school and parent-teacher conference. The conference was held in two parts for all ages, the first part was the Parent School, and the second part was the Parents' Conference.
Part I: Special Lectures for Parent Schools
Our kindergarten specially invited Teacher Yu Biyun of Xuejun Zhijiang Primary School to give a special lecture on "Early Childhood Articulation" for the parents of the kindergarten. Teacher Yu Biyun proposed that for children who are about to enter primary school, parents should first pay attention to the changes in the children's learning environment, content and schedule. Secondly, to let the child do something quietly and attentively, good listening ability and habits are also one of the standards to measure the child's learning ability. Finally, it is necessary to improve the ability of young children in all aspects. In the lecture, through years of educational experience, Ms. Yu Biyun shared some real cases of cultivating children's good learning methods with parents, which was recognized by many parents. At the same time, Teacher Yu Biyun also put forward his own views, hoping that our children are grateful, loyal, civilized, optimistic and sharing people.
In the lecture of "Love Eye Protection, Scientific Prevention and Control of Myopia", Dr. Wang Fengjiao, M.D., explained in detail to parents the structure of the eyes, the causes of myopia and the knowledge of preventing myopia from the four aspects of "knowing our eyes", "the harm of myopia", "how myopia is formed" and "how to prevent myopia". The lecture also mentioned: to prevent myopia, we should pay attention to eye hygiene, strengthen physical exercise, develop good eating habits, eat less sweets; pay attention to supplementing foods that help maintain normal vision. The eyes are the windows of the soul, and myopia prevention and control is "more important than cure". Only by correctly understanding myopia will our eye protection actions be more durable and scientific. Let us work together to guide and intervene in a timely manner for unhealthy eye behavior, effectively combine myopia education and prevention, and protect the child's eye health in an all-round and multi-angle manner! The lecture was well received by parents.
Part II: Class Parent-Teacher Conference
In this part, the teachers of each class introduced the warm-up games, class analysis, life aspects, work priorities of this semester, existing problems, and matters you need to cooperate with in detail. At the same time, he shared with parents some educational concepts that are suitable for the development of young children at all ages. In order to make the parents' meeting highlight more wonderful, the teachers of each class have made preparations in all aspects, and feedback to parents in the kindergarten through various forms, such as: some classes make PPT, some classes use videos, and some classes add background music when playing pictures, so that parents not only see the happy scene of children in the kindergarten, but also admire the wisdom of the teachers, fully affirm and support the work of the kindergarten, and parents and kindergartens further resonate with education. The short parent-teacher meeting deepens parents' understanding of kindergarten life, and the spark of educational thinking collides with a bright light, illuminating the direction of children's progress.
Through these three days of parent school and parent-teacher conference activities, not only to narrow the distance between homes, so that home co-education plays a real role, but also let parents understand the importance of family education for the growth of young children. The parents' meeting has been fully affirmed and supported by parents, who have said that they will continue to support the work of the kindergarten in the future, and in the process of educating and cultivating young children, they will work together with the kindergarten to raise children, so that the children can grow up healthy and happy.
