Beauty, Lin Chuchu (1905-1979), formerly known as Lin Meiyi, born in 1905 in Vancouver, Canada, studied at the local overseas Chinese school, an early film actress in China, she was the first female film star in Hong Kong. In 1919, she married Lai Man-wai, the founder of Hong Kong cinema.
