Cao Yang Yi Village Community Story Museum
Officially opened

On the afternoon of October 5th, as an "immersive" pavilion in the Caoyang Exhibition Area of the 2021 Urban Space Art Season, the "Caoyang Yicun Community Story Museum" was officially opened and ushered in the first public event.
Xu Chunhui, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Caoyang Xincun Subdistrict, Zhou Jian, President of Tongji Planning Institute, as well as more than 30 representatives of the project curatorial team, Yuanyuan Residential Area, Huajia Angel Volunteers, and Teachers and Students of Chaochun Primary School attended the event.
This year coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Caoyang New Village, Caoyang New Village Street on the occasion of the relocation of caoyang village residents, the "Yuanyuan People's Living Room" located in No. 142, Caoyang Village, into a "doorstep, heavy participation, cultural, warm" community public space, through the collection of residents' old objects, telling community neighborhood stories, participating in interactive experiences and other forms, to further enhance the sense of belonging and happiness of community residents, and make every effort to build a new pattern of community governance and sharing.

At the scene of the event, Xu Chunhui, secretary of the street party working committee, issued the "Fenghua Seventy Cao Yang Community Participation Certificate" to the community residents and representatives of the community school, and thanked the co-construction units and community residents who actively participated in and enthusiastically participated in the planning and transformation of the community story museum.
A couplet of "Happy Residence Treasure Land Wangfu Zhao Cao Yangxing" is written by Mr. Zhang Qiqing, a resident of a village, expressing his excitement and joy of looking forward to moving back in, and hanging in the middle of the community story hall.
Residents Sun Yafen and Pan Jinhua donated old objects such as copper locks and sewing machines, and shared their stories with Cao Yang.
Familiar old objects and photos of life make residents stop and stay, think of thousands of thoughts, listening to the old stories of Cao Yang told by their neighbors, as if they have returned to the old days, and the faces of residents are filled with happy smiles from time to time.
The exhibition introduced VR tour and AR scenes, under the guidance of the online guide "Aunt Cao", watched the theme video of "Cao Yang Yi Village Story Museum", visited and browsed the theme exhibition of indoor living scenes of four different eras, immersed in the changes of Cao Yang's living conditions and the development of the times, and through the new exhibition experience mode of "Mini Program Game", let visitors visit and experience the livable "Cao Yang Yi Village" through the interactive answer of "Light Up Five Stars".
In addition, the community story museum has also set up activity sections such as local volunteer cultivation, community story collection, and community autonomy salon to explore community talents and cultivate autonomy capabilities in the form of theme sharing, round table discussion, on-site interaction, etc., to explore community construction, community governance, neighborhood co-creation and community good life creation.
The exhibition will last from now until November 30, in order to extract the unique architectural elements of Caoyang Village, and apply the door head symbolizing "Cao Yang" and the hollow shape of the Zizi pattern to the exhibition design, jointly welcoming the residents of a village to move back to a new home, regaining the memory of Cao Yang, and showing the unique history, culture and change process of Cao Yang Village.
