After marriage, he reluctantly bid farewell to his new wife and embarked on a journey to the west. Yin Xiaoxiao was assigned to the Tenth Aviation School of Taiyuan of the Air Force. Who knew that in the second year of enlistment, tragedy occurred.

In 1957, Yin Xiaoxiao was mistakenly classified as a "rightist" and was expelled from the military and sent back to his hometown. After returning to Tianjin, he was sent to the suburbs. Baidu Baikeli said that (Yin Xiaoxiao) performed in Shanxi, Henan, Hebei and other places in the 1960s, and in 1962, he worked in the Dalian Qu Art Troupe. In the 1990s, cross-talk was impacted by sketches and fell to a low point. Some people of insight in the Tianjin cross-talk industry put forward the idea of returning to the small theater of cross-talk, and the earliest initiator was Yu Baolin, the disciple of Yin Xiaoxiao.
