Bamboo thorn is one of the famous precious edible mushrooms, has the reputation of "queen of fungi", delicious taste, strong aroma, edible and medicinal, the Qing Dynasty was listed as one of the "Eight Treasures of Grass". Shuangpai County is rich in forest resources, with a bamboo forest area of 274,000 mu, and Hejiadong Town was rated as "China's Moso Bamboo Town" in 2020, and the potential for planting bamboo under the forest is huge.

Bamboo shoots can produce mushrooms about 100 days after sowing, the first batch of picking is completed, and can be picked again after a week, and so on, and can be recycled until September. The annual output of dry goods is more than 300 catties, the output value is about 80,000 yuan, and the net profit can exceed 15,000 yuan. The first batch of 110 catties of dried bamboo seed goods were produced by the bamboo thorn trial base in Hejiadong Town, and the results of the trial planting began to appear.
