On May 19, IOC President Thomas Bach visited the Shanghai International Media Port of China Central Radio and Television, and together with Shen Haixiong, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and Director of China Central Radio and Television, he awarded the Paris Olympic Games broadcast team of the main station, released the logo of the Olympic Games report of the main station, and launched the broadcast of the Paris Olympic Games column "Sports Morning News" of the main station. IOC Vice President Huang Simian, IOC members Yu Zaiqing, Li Lingwei and Zhang Hong, and members of the Editorial Board of the General Station Xue Jijun, Jiang Wenbo and Peng Jianming attended the event.

Shen Haixiong said that as the world's largest comprehensive international media carrier, China Central Radio and Television will go all out to fulfill its responsibilities as the main broadcaster of the Paris Olympics and the rights-holding broadcaster of all media. Yesterday, the 8K ultra-high-definition broadcast truck of the main station has departed from Beijing, will depart from Ningbo Zhoushan Port, and arrive in Paris, France in late July. This is the world's first broadcast of the Olympic Games in 8K ultra-high definition. Previously, 10 standard containers of 1,256 pieces of broadcast and reporting equipment have been shipped from Ningbo Zhoushan Port to Le Havre Port in France. The station is willing to work with the IOC to continue to deepen cooperation in accelerating technological innovation and developing e-sports events. The main station is ready for the Paris Olympic Games, and we will send a strong broadcast team to present the wonderful Olympic events with world-class event production and broadcast standards, and bring more surprises to global audiences.

From May 20, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. every day, it will be broadcast live on CCTV Sports Channel, CCTV Sports Client, CCTV, Cloud Listening Client and other platforms to introduce the Olympic preparations and event-related information to the audience.

According to reports, as the main broadcaster and the international media that have won the most bids for the Paris Olympic Games broadcast project, China Central Radio and Television will broadcast the Paris Olympics broadcast report scale in history, through channels, frequencies and new media clients broadcast and distribute more than 11,000 hours of high-quality event signals, and for the first time abroad to achieve full 4K/8K ultra-high-definition broadcast production. The main station will be responsible for the production of international public signals for the four major events of gymnastics, table tennis, badminton and rock climbing, with a live broadcast duration of more than 400 hours.

On the same day, the art exhibition "From Beijing to Paris - Chinese Artists' Olympic Tour" opened at Shanghai International Media Port. Bach and Shen Haixiong jointly inaugurated the art exhibition.

The exhibition consists of two parts, "Encountering the Olympic Games" and "Walking with Art", featuring 68 artworks by 62 well-known Chinese artists and 11 treasures from the collection of the Shanghai Sports Museum. Previously, the "From Beijing to Paris - Sino-French Artists Olympic Tour" Chinese Art Exhibition was successfully held in Paris, France, and received enthusiastic responses, and this exhibition is one of its series of cultural and sports exchange activities.
