Friends who have watched the 2020 guan hu director's movie "Eight Hundred" about the Battle of Songhu, must remember that there is a girl scout in the film who presents the flag to the "eight hundred heroes" guarding the Sihang warehouse, Yang Huimin.

It was the national flag sent by Yang Huimin that was raised high on the roof of the Sihang warehouse the next day, and the morale of the defenders was greatly boosted.
Afterwards, her deeds were widely written into major newspapers and school textbooks; filmed in various film and television dramas. Yang Huimin has thus become a well-known hero.
After the flag was presented, Yang Huimin became the image ambassador of China's propaganda of the War of Resistance, favored by Song Meiling, and in August 1938, she was assigned to the United States to participate in the "Second World Youth Peace Congress".
Since then, he has traveled the world to give speeches and has been received by dignitaries from various countries, such as Roosevelt, the Queen of the Netherlands, Gandhi and others.
During her attendance at the Second World Youth Peace Conference, she met Li Guoqin, a Chinese-American business magnate, who also applied for a scholarship for her at Columbia University.
However, what Yang Huimin did not expect was that her life would soon undergo an earth-shaking reversal, from a heroine to a prisoner of the order, sitting in prison for four years.
What happened to her?
In 1941, Yang Huimin went to the United States again.
When she set off from Chongqing and arrived in Hong Kong, before she could board the ship, the Pearl Harbor incident broke out and Hong Kong fell.
She only fled to Huizhou with a large number of refugees, and then transferred from Huizhou to Qujiang, where she was taken in by the Relief Committee and invited by Chen Zhigao to participate in the relief work of the Relief Association.
The shadow of bad luck has since hung over the head of this anti-Japanese heroine, which is related to another woman. This woman was no one else, it was the famous "movie queen" at that time - Hu Die.
At that time, Hu Die and her husband Pan Yousheng were also in Hong Kong.
Because Japan repeatedly sent people to attract her to Tokyo to shoot the scenic film "Butterfly Tour to Tokyo", she did not want to become a traitor, so she found an excuse to politely reject the Japanese.
After consulting with Pan Yousheng, she decided to leave Hong Kong and flee to the mainland.
Pan Yousheng quickly got in touch with the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Brigade under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
The guerrillas deeply admired the "Queen of Movies" for resolutely refusing to cooperate with the Japanese and were determined to properly protect the Hu Die family from danger.
The person who was sent by the guerrillas to rescue Hu Die was Yang Huimin.
Hu Die's luggage to take away is more than thirty boxes, which are full of valuable things such as jewelry, fur coats, German leather shoes and various souvenirs from her shadow. This is her precious savings for more than ten years.
Hu Die and her husband Pan Yousheng
Through research and analysis, the guerrillas suggested that people and things should be divided.
So a few days later, Hu Die's family disguised as fleeing civilians, under the close protection of the guerrillas, left Saigon from Kowloon and finally arrived at the Qu River in northern Guangdong via Dapeng Bay by fishing boat.
After arriving in Qujiang, Hu Di waited intently for the dozens of boxes of luggage that Yang Huimin was responsible for transporting, but she never waited, and she had a vague premonition in her heart.
More than a year later, with the approaching war, Qujiang was not a place to stay for a long time. Hu Die's family had to embark on the road of escape again and rush to Chongqing.
They passed through Guilin, where they rested for a while.
Hu Di was walking around the street one day, and suddenly found a silver fox fur coat hanging in an auction house that was very familiar, and after careful identification, she was sure that it was her own.
She was suddenly confused, how could these things that were entrusted to Yang Huimin appear here? She hurriedly asked the owner, who replied that it had been purchased from Hong Kong.
Hu Di suddenly felt a thunderbolt on a sunny day, and she stumbled home and told her husband about it.
The two inquired through various channels, and sure enough, they got the news that dozens of boxes were all lost. This incident hit Hu Die hard, she was seriously ill, almost collapsed.
She contacted Chen Zhigao and demanded compensation for the loss. Chen Zhigao hurriedly sent people to try to track down along the way, but to no avail.
So he thought of a person, that is, Du Yuesheng, the big man of the Green Gang.
Du Yuesheng was living in Liu Hangchen's Wang Shan Villa in Chongqing, and he was appointed by Chiang Kai-shek as a standing committee member of the Central Relief Committee and a commissioner of the Hong Kong and Macao Relief Zone, so he was responsible for managing the affairs of the Relief Charity Association.
After receiving Chen Zhigao's letter, he learned about the theft of Hu Die's luggage.
So he called Dai Kasa, the head of the military command, and asked him to go to Wang Shan Villa to discuss this "public case" that needed to be solved urgently.
Dai Kasa heard that it was his "goddess" Hu Di who had lost something, so he became concerned about the matter.
He hurried to the Wang Shan Villa, discussed with Du Yuesheng and analyzed: "The luggage has been robbed for less than a month, the stolen goods have not been able to get rid of, and it is still too late to find clues." ”
He decided to take Hu Die's family to Chongqing first.
A few days later, Hu Die's family arrived in Chongqing. They were properly arranged by Dai Kasa to live in the "luxury hotel" of the military command.
Hu Di mentioned to Dai That Yang Huimin was responsible for rescuing their family and transporting her luggage.
Dai Kasa knew Yang Huimin and knew her heroic deeds of heroically offering flags to eight hundred brave soldiers. He should not believe that Yang Huimin would collude with others to rob money.
And Yang Huimin herself also denied that she had robbed Hu Die's luggage. She published a statement:
"After the fall of Hong Kong, I secretly traveled to Hong Kong eight times and rescued more than 200 dignitaries and young people to return to China. When the more than 30 pieces of luggage transported by Dai Hu Die were about to cross the East River, all of them were robbed due to the chaos of soldiers and horses, and it was not me who abducted and embezzled them. ”
Dai Kasa then sent someone to the location where Hu Die's luggage was stolen and found that the local situation was very complicated.
Because Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta had fallen at that time, not only were there frequent Japanese incursions, but various bandits robbed refugees of their money in the area.
It is not easy to find out which group of people robbed Hu Die's luggage.
Therefore, in order to take care of Hu Die's feelings, Dai Kasa arrested the innocent Yang Huimin and her fiancé Zhao Le and detained them in the Chongqing Lime City Detention Center.
It is said that Dai Kasa not only bought dozens of boxes of valuable items from his own pocket to give to Hu Die, but also recovered a 1.1 carat diamond ring worth 5,000 yuan that weighed the most precious piece of Hu Die's lost luggage in a consignment store in Jiangdong.
It also gave the "goddess" some comfort.
On the other hand, the heroine who sent the flag was unlucky.
She was first detained by Dai Kasa in the Chongqing Lime City Detention Center, then transferred to Xifeng, and finally transferred from Shifeng to Chongqing Zhadidong.
The heroine who should have had a bright future, her future was so ruined!
The experiences of those who have gone abroad to give speeches and travel seem to be a dream now, and I dare not ask for any luxury to study abroad.
Faced with the fate of suddenly falling from heaven to hell, strong as Yang Huimin could not help but wash her face with tears all day long.
According to Wang Rende, a military command agent who was imprisoned in Zha di Dong for violating discipline at the time, he recalled afterwards: "Yang Huimin was often silent and taciturn in Zha Di Dong, sighing in the sky, sad and indignant, and very haggard. ”
If it were not for the plane crash of Dai Kasa in 1946, Yang Huimin would not know what year and month she would be free.
After being released from prison, this heroine of the year became obscure, and her life was ruined by being unjustly imprisoned; and soon, her fiancé Zhao Le also left her and left...
In 1949, Yang Huimin moved to Taiwan, married Zhu Chongming, a professor of physical education at National Taiwan University who was much older than herself, and had two sons, Zhu Fugui and Zhu Fuhong. Since then, she has never said anything about her past of raising the flag.
It was not until 1975, when the Filming of the Taiwanese film "Eight Hundred Heroes" was completed, in which the actor who played Yang Huimin was Lin Qingxia, and this character once again attracted the attention of the public.
Yang Huimin himself was invited by the producer to promote the film. It was only when she reappeared in the public eye.
Unfortunately, in 1977, Yang Huimin suffered a car accident, resulting in partial paralysis;
But the god of fate still did not spare the poor woman, who later suddenly had a cerebral hemorrhage and became a vegetative person, although she was still alive and dead. He died in 1992.
The saddest thing is that until Yang Huimin died, there was a knot in her heart that was not opened, that is, the actress Hu Die, who made her fall from the clouds to the bottom.
Yang Huimin and Lin Qingxia
In her autobiography "Eight Hundred Heroes and Me", there is a shocking passage that she recalls those days like this:
"I wash my face with tears every day. Endless tears! I cried bitterly, I cried out to heaven, I prayed to the gods, because Hu Di ruined me, she ruined the brilliant future of my life! She killed a fiery patriotic heart, she insulted my feat of risking a flag to eight hundred brave men, and she hurt the self-esteem of a righteous gentleman with a villainous heart... I hate this ignorant acting woman! ”
She was resentful and unwilling to die. She has always believed that it was Hu Die's framing of her embezzlement that led to her unjust imprisonment, thus ruining the bright future.
Later, some experts said that Yang Huimin's imprisonment actually had a deeper reason, that is:
Huang Mulan, the wife of her boss Chen Zhigao, was a member of our party (although she broke away from our party after marrying Chen).
Huang Mulan
It was dai who investigated this point that he locked up Yang Huimin on the charge of "luggage theft" and did not dare to let it go.
Afterwards, it turned out that Dai Kasa was indeed the head of the old and spicy secret service, and Huang Mulan later restored his status as a member of our party again in 1951.
What did Hu Die, the other heroine of the incident, think?
In her memoirs written in her later years, neither the theft of luggage nor Yang Huimin's mention is mentioned.
She sealed it forever in the deepest recesses of her memory, along with the controversial head of the secret service, Dai Kasa. We'll never know what she thinks.
