The film "990,000 Hugs," based on the true deeds of The Anti-US and Aid Korea fighters Gu Chenkun and He Guangying, will be released nationwide from May 28. The film tells the story of the male protagonist Cheng Kun protecting his comrades-in-arms who were injured and paraplegic in battle, and deliberately not contacting his lover Ying Zi in order not to involve him, but Ying Zi did not abandon the story of Cheng Kun and Cheng Kun for more than sixty years.
"I hope that through this film, the three themes of loyalty, persistence and simplicity will be expressed." Zhang Zhong, the director of the film, said that the film reflects and reveals the test of love in the face of commitment, emotion, materiality, worldliness, etc., focusing on the choice and persistence of ordinary people between the feelings of home and country and the fate of individuals, and explores the connotation and true meaning of love from a new perspective, starring Yuan Yu, Xue Yubin, Zhao Liang and so on.
