It is worth mentioning that China and the Czech Republic do not have geopolitical conflicts, and Czech President Zeman has always been known for being pro-China. However, the Czech Civic Democratic Party has close ties with the United States and has a strong anti-China tendency. Last year, Viestečir, president of the Senate of the Czech Civic Democratic Party, insisted on leading a delegation to visit Taiwan in spite of President Zeman's strong opposition, and he also used Chinese to say that "I am a Taiwanese" to openly support the "Taiwan independence" elements, which caused criticism from all sides.
