Taiwan's "Central News Agency" and other media on the island have speculated early on the morning of the 20th about the news that Wu Zhaoxie, head of Taiwan's foreign affairs department, will visit Prague, the czech capital, and the report quoted the Czech And Taiwan Chamber of Commerce as saying on the 19th that Wu Zhaoxie and a business delegation will visit Prague from October 23 to 27, declaring that this is "the latest sign of warm relations between the Czech Republic and Taiwan, a member state of the European Union."

Taiwan's "Central News Agency" said that the members of the Czech And Taiwan Chamber of Commerce are mainly Czech manufacturers who have business dealings with Taiwan.
According to the report, Chen Liguo, director of the European Department of Taiwan's foreign affairs department, said on September 14 that Gong Mingxin, chairman of the "National Development Council", would lead an economic and trade investment delegation of about 65 people to visit the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Slovakia in October to "thank these three Central and Eastern European countries for donating Taiwan's COVID-19 vaccine and other support."
