Brain Task Force

author:Koi watched the movie

"Have you ever looked at someone and thought about it?" What's going on in their heads? "I know, I know what Riley is thinking." Through the form of questions and answers, one of the protagonists of the film, Lele, is introduced, and then through the perspective of Lele, he sees the reaction of Riley's parents to expect and love her when Riley was born, and forms a happy memory ball, thus starting to activate the emotional console in Riley's brain. First of all, the depiction of this scene is very optimistic, trying to tell us that the first memory in life is happy, containing our parents' expectations for our birth. This is followed by the protagonist of the film, who is sad (sad), afraid (to ensure safety), disgusted (to prevent being poisoned), and angry (who cares about fairness).

The first perspective of this film is Lele, who at first does not quite understand the responsibility of worry, she thinks that there is no place for worry, but she thinks that everyone is good. In the beginning, the memory ball is mostly happy, the core memory is also happy, and everything is so beautiful. Each core memory shapes a part of Riley's personality. It also tells us that the influence of the surrounding environment when we are young is so important to a person's future development. Because of the influence of core memory, Riley formed Family Island, Honesty Island, Hockey Island, Friendship Island, and Funny Island. From the age of 0 to 11, the emotional console in Riley's brain worked repeatedly day after day, and happy memories accounted for a large part. These scenes just tell us that in most people's memories, childhood life is beautiful and happy, without any troubles.

"After all, Riley is only 11 years old now, what can happen?" However, it was at this time that Riley moved, and the whole family moved away from San Francisco. It was as if everything had become sad after coming to San Francisco. Worry wants to touch the memory ball and the core memory at this time. She felt sorry, but she didn't know what was wrong with her, and she felt like she was about to collapse. This simulates people entering a new environment and feeling sad all the time if they don't adapt to and integrate into that environment at first. So when we enter a new environment, we have to adjust our mood to make ourselves happy to integrate into this environment. Now that we have been in college for a while, I believe that we also have a certain understanding of the university campus and life, and we must look at everything around us with positive and optimistic feelings. Only if you face the world with a smile, the world will give you sunshine.

During this time, the villains of the five emotions have been engaged in a strong struggle, especially happiness and sorrow. Something terrible came, and when Riley went to the new school to introduce herself, the melancholy controlled Riley's emotions and turned a core memory into sadness. Lele is eager to remove this sad core memory from it, and during the battle, Sorrow and Lele make both of them and Riley leave the headquarters, resulting in a series of bad things that happen later. In fact, this story tells us that whether it is happy memories or sad memories, they belong to us, there is no need to forcibly erase them, they are all an important part of our lives.

Lele and Sorrow have been looking for a way back to headquarters since they left headquarters, and their adventures have taught us some psychological knowledge and some knowledge about memory. After the loss of the core memory, Riley's personality island also loses its vitality, leaving Riley's whole person lifeless.

First they fall into the Long Memory Zone (where all of Riley's memories are preserved), and after entering the Long-Term Memory Labyrinth, they meet the Mind Worker, who is responsible for clearing the memories that Riley has never used. This also tells us that memory has a time limit, and if those useful knowledge we must often take out and review, avoid our own forgetting, and learn new things from the past. Then they meet Riley's childhood playmate Popsicle, who is more than happy to send the two of them back to headquarters, knowing that Riley would never be happy without Lele. The three of them want to take a thought train, and the popsicle sticks take them into abstract thinking (vividly telling us the four stages of abstract thinking), imagination paradise (where all Riley imagines beautiful things and what she likes). Because Lele and Sorrow are not in the headquarters, Riley's emotions are a mess, resulting in the destruction of some things in Imaginary Paradise, which makes the popsicle very sad, and Lele's comfort is useless, but the comfort of Sorrow is very useful, so that Lele sees the usefulness of worry. This also tells us that some things in life cannot be solved by happiness and happiness, sadness is the best way to solve, and each emotion has its own function and suitable use.

Because Riley's life was so bad at headquarters, the other three emotional villains began to want Riley to run away from home. In order to promote the start of the imaginary train, Lele, Worry, and Popsicle broke into the Dream Theater, Lele suggested using Happy Dreams to make Riley wake up, Worry suggested using scary dreams to make Riley wake up, and in the argument between the two, the three of them were arrested and imprisoned in the Dream Prison, but they did not wake Riley. In the Dream Prison, they release the Joker to wake Riley up, but eventually rely on the melancholy method to wake Riley up. Lele also gradually realized the important role of worry in Riley. After turning on the imagination train, they saw in-brain reasoning, language processing, critical thinking... (Memory hallucinations). Because the total collapse of Riley's personality island causes Lele and popsicles to fall into the ruins of memory (all of which Are Riley's memories to forget). Lele and popsicles try again and again, fail again and again, and finally at the sacrifice of popsicles, Lele successfully returns to the ground, and the popsicles disappear into Riley's memory. This also symbolizes that as the individual grows up, childhood memories are also passing away little by little. In the end, with the efforts of Lele, the two successfully returned to the headquarters. With the return of the two, Riley gave up running away from home. With Lele's understanding of melancholy, more personality islands were established. This adventure has taught us that every emotion we have in life is beneficial and useful, and that we cannot be alone in understanding each other.

The emotional console in the final headquarters of the entire film has been upgraded, and the number of personality islands has increased. Lele said: "After all, Riley is only 12 years old now, what can happen?" "At the end there was a suspense and a red button with a puberty written on it. This also symbolizes that with the age of stress, our emotions are likely to be unstable, but we must stabilize our emotions, learn to self-regulate, and face the difficulties and setbacks in life positively and optimistically.
