Subject: In the era of film industrialization, how do photographers face the contradiction between the commerciality and artistry of films?
When the Big Peak team visited Hollywood, the most they heard from the ASC photographer was how the lens told the story, and the beauty of the lens ranked second. But their films still don't lack artistry. In the process of the industrialization of Chinese cinema, many photographers were lost in the contradiction between art and commerce. In recent years, many excellent DP seniors have summed up a lot of experience, such as the guests invited by the round table, as well as the elderly. As a result, the company curated the 2015 Cinematographer Roundtable Forum of Dafeng to share how they faced the contradictions between business and art.
On May 3, 2015, at the scene of Storaro's master class, famous domestic photographers Zhao Fei, Zhao Xiaoding, Gu Changwei, Wang Yu and Xie Zhengyu will come to the course site to conduct a photographer roundtable with Storaro. Famous photographer, vice president of the China Film and Television Photographers Association, graduated from the Photography Department of Beijing Film Academy. In the advertising industry, Zhao Xiaoding is a leader in his peers, and his photographic advertisements such as Coca-Cola, Armani perfume and other brand-name goods, Beijing's bid for the Olympic Games, Shanghai's bid for the World Expo, beijing 2008 Olympic games emblem release and other government promotional films.
