History of Xinxing Park:
1894: Dong Shichang opens a small restaurant called DongJia Restaurant.
1901: Dong Shichang recruits Wang Zhaoyuan and Wang Zhaoji to his hotel. The Wang brothers introduced the round cage steamed dumplings they learned in Shandong into the store. At that time, the dumpling restaurant was one of the most famous restaurants in Jilin, commonly known as the Wangjia Dumpling Restaurant.
In 1920, Brother Wang Zhaoyuan and Wang Zhaoji took over the hotel and rented three stores in the western section of Henan Street, named "Tianyixing", mainly engaged in steamed dumplings and sauce meat. The two brothers constantly innovated the dumpling making process, developed a new process of rolling the skin, three next skin, rolled dumpling skin thin and even and not hard heart, known as a must.
In 1935, the "Tianyixing" Hotel expanded its new store and moved from the west end of Henan Street to the current north of Dongtou Road, and the location is the current location. Han Yu, a famous chef at the time, was in charge of the spoon, mainly engaged in steamed dumplings in a round cage, adding stir-fried vegetables, and organizing banquets, and the shop number was named after Han Yu's Yu character, and from then on, "Tianyixing" was changed to "Tianyuxing".
1948: After the liberation of Jilin Province, the Chamber of Commerce at that time sent Qu Yunzhi and Yang Changxing to work in the "Tianyuxing" Hotel, pushed Qu Yunzhi as the manager (his husband was a guy of the Wang brothers), and specially hired the old treasurer Wang Zhaoyuan to participate in the quality management of the enterprise.
1950: On the basis of the original "Tianyuxing" hotel, the dumpling restaurant was reopened on the original site, and the store number was "Xinxing Garden".
1956: The municipal government approved the public-private partnership, and Xinxingyuan Dumpling Restaurant was merged into the Jiangcheng Hotel, the municipal catering service company. During this period, the name of the shop was once changed to Henan Street Dumpling Restaurant (the location of the business has not changed).
1962: In order to maintain the traditional variety of Wangjia Dumpling Restaurant, the Municipal Catering Service Company separated the Xinxingyuan Dumpling Restaurant from the Jiangcheng Hotel and established an independent operating unit.
1989: Xinxingyuan steamed dumplings won the title of "Golden Tripod Award" from the Ministry of Commerce.
1997: Won the title of "Chinese Famous Snack" by the Chinese Cuisine Association.
1999: Awarded the title of "Century-old Brand" by the Provincial Culinary Association, the title of Ji cuisine famous restaurant and dumpling banquet, and the title of Chinese famous point of the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
