From October 22 to 24, the "10th National Seminar on Persimmon Production and Scientific Research Progress" sponsored by the Persimmon Branch of the Chinese Horticultural Society and the National Innovation Alliance of persimmon Industry was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Fire crystal persimmon, also known as Lintong fire crystal persimmon, as a specialty of Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is a national geographical indication product of China. Located in and around Yangjia Village, Qinling Street, 5 kilometers east of Lintong City, is the area with the highest concentration of century-old persimmon trees and the core production area of high-quality fire crystal persimmons in Lintong District. After years of planting and cultivation, growers in this area fully apply green prevention and control technology, ecological circulation organic fertilizer, preservation and storage and other modern agricultural science and technology, the fruit produced, the fruit shape is dignified, the size is symmetrical, the sand is refreshing, and it has become an outstanding representative of Lintong fire crystal persimmon, with an average single fruit weight of about 65 grams, extremely high sugar content, red fruit surface, and high commodity rate.
It is reported that the planting area of Lintong fire crystal persimmons is about 2,000 mu, most of which are original ecological scattered planting, with an annual output of about 3,000 tons. The development of Lintong fire crystal persimmon industry has been included in the "Xi'an Lintong District Rural Revitalization Strategy Implementation Plan".
