Longjing No. 43 has a high germination rate, high purity and few impurities, and also has an innate advantage in picking time. Disease-resistant and cold-resistant, it is one of the varieties suitable for promotion selected by the China Tea Research Institute.

One bud and one leaf is the picking standard of the nationally certified special Grade Longjing tea, and the grinding kung fu has always adhered to the MingQian Longjing picking standard.
First of all, only on sunny days, the bud head must be longer than the leaf, and the total length of the bud leaf is about 2.5 cm;
Secondly, the whole spring tea picking lasts for 8-10 batches, but the grinding kung fu only uses the thick and plump buds picked in the 1-3 batches of the Ming Dynasty, and the selected first spring tea buds are even more vivid, gathering the aura of the whole spring.
Mingqian tea can be divided into: head picking, the second batch before the Ming, the third batch before the Ming, and the fourth batch before the Ming.
Needless to say, it is the best batch in the Ming Dynasty Longjing, and it is precisely because it is a head picking, the output is small and the price is also very high, and it is often the best gift or as a senior tea guest.
The second batch of tea leaves before the Ming Dynasty, that is, the time from the head harvest to the week before the Qingming Festival, is generally 7-10 days of picking. During this period, the buds and leaves are still very delicate, the quality of the tea leaves remains good, and the price is much lower than that of the first tea picking.
The third batch of tea picked in the week before the Qingming Festival, near the Qingming Rain increases, the appearance of the tea will be slightly larger than the first two batches, but the taste and soup color are still tender and fresh, and the price is the lowest of the three batches, because of the high cost performance, it is often the choice of gifts and ration teas between acquaintances.
Although the group species is generally "selling", the aroma is not only typical of Longjing's bean fragrance, but also slightly floral. Compared with Longjing No. 43, the tea soup tastes richer and thicker. As the origin of Longjing tea, Shifeng Mountain retains a large number of Longjing group species.
Because Longjing 43 is asexually reproduced, it looks uniform in appearance and is more ornamental when brewing. The bean fragrance is high, and it is very easy to catch the nose of the tea taster. At the same time, it also has the characteristics of low astringency and harmonious taste, which is also very popular with the public.
