This year, 8,000 yuan can almost buy the top West Lake Longjing, and about 1,000 yuan can buy a good West Lake Longjing.
The top West Lake Longjing is picked earlier, usually from March 20 to the end of March. The 400 yuan Longjing is generally picked late, around April 20. Tea plants are watered after April 5, and the quality gradually declines.
It is generally believed that the top West Lake Longjing is produced in the Shifeng Mountain area, and other products produced in the West Lake District can also be regarded as authentic West Lake Longjing.
