On the morning of July 12, Wingtech Nexperia China Headquarters and China Research Institute were officially established in Huangpu, Shanghai. Fu Xinhua, deputy director of the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Gao Yun, secretary of the Huangpu District Party Committee, Shen Shanzhou, mayor of the district, Wang Nai, deputy mayor of the district, and Zhang Xuezheng, chairman of Wingtech Technology, attended the unveiling ceremony.
Wingtech Technology is the world's leading semiconductor and communication products integration enterprise, in 2019, Wingtech Technology fully acquired Nexperia. The successful convening of this ceremony marks the official landing of the Nexperia China Headquarters and China Research Institute project. In the early stage, Wingtech Technology and Nexperia saw Shanghai's advantages in internationalization and integrated circuit industry ecology, and continuously increased their business layout in Shanghai. Shanghai is Nexperia's first regional headquarters outside its headquarters in the Netherlands, and nexperia China Research Institute will be committed to becoming a world-class power semiconductor R&D and innovation center. According to reports, Nexperia China headquarters will actively promote the landing of R&D, technology, talents, management and market in China, and Nexperia China Research Institute will establish the world's leading R&D and experimental capabilities of automotive-grade semiconductors to jointly support Wingtech Lingang Fab Project to accelerate construction.
