He Zhizhang (c. 659 – c. 744), courtesy name Ji Zhen, in his later years, called himself "Siming Fanatic" and "Secretary of foreign prisoners", a native of Yongxing, Yuezhou (present-day Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang). Tang Dynasty poet and calligrapher.
He was known for his poetry. In the first year of Wu Zetian's reign (695), Yi Wei Ke yuan. He was a man of open-air, good wine, and had the reputation of "talking about the flow of the wind", especially in his later years. He Zhizhang, together with Zhang Ruoxu, Zhang Xu, and Bao Rong, was called "Four Gentlemen of Wuzhong"; together with Li Bai and Li Shizhi, he was called "Eight Immortals in Drinking"; and together with Chen Ziang, Lu Zangyong, Song Zhiqing, Wang Shi, Bi Shuo, Li Bai, Meng Haoran, Wang Wei, and Sima Chengzhen, he was also called "Ten Friends of Xianzong". His poems are known for their absolute sentences, and in addition to the ritual movements and poems that should be made, his writing scenes and lyrical works have a unique style, fresh and elegant. After a long time, He Zhizhang did not feel enlightened, and thought to himself: "The emperor is making fun of me too much." I am a Native of Wudi, and the word 'Fu' is the word 'claw' with the word 'zi' underneath it. He named my son 'Fu', didn't he call me a paw? ”
Golden turtle for wine
In the first year of Tang Tianbao (742), the poet Li Bai came to the capital Chang'an. He did not have a friend in Chang'an, so he lived alone in a small guest house. One day, he went to a famous Taoist temple to browse and met the famous poet He Zhizhang. He Zhizhang had read Li Bai's poems very early and was extremely admired, and this time when they met by chance, they talked cordially. He thought about it for a moment, and then he untied the gold ornament turtle bag around his waist as wine money. Li Bai stopped and said, "No, this is an ornament given to you by the royal family according to the grade, how can you exchange it for wine?" "Both can drink until they're slightly drunk. Later, He Zhizhang recommended Li Bai to the emperor, and the emperor had long heard of Li Bai's name, so he appointed Li Bai as the Hanlin Emperor.
Later, He Zhizhang died, Li Bai was alone with wine, and he had a nostalgia for the wine, remembering that the golden turtle changed the wine, so he wrote "Remembering the Second Song of he prison for wine".

He Zhizhang has a residence in Xuanpingfang, Xijing. His house had a small slab door opposite the door, and an old man often rode in and out of it on a donkey. After five or six years, the old man's face and clothes were the same as before, there was no change, and his family could not be seen. Ask the neighbors in the alley, they all say that it is Wang Lao, who sells money ropes in the West Market. After observation, it was seen that he was an extraordinary person.
He Zhizhang often went to Elder Wang on his free days, and the old man greeted him respectfully and cautiously. He has only one messenger to summon the boy. He Zhizhang asked him about his profession, and the old man answered very casually. As a result of the increase in contacts with him, the conversation gradually increased, saying that he was good at cultivating the art of alchemy. He Zhizhang Pingzun believed in Taoism, so he was willing to worship the old man as a teacher.
Later, He Zhizhang and his wife took a pearl, said that they had obtained it in their hometown, treasured it for many years, and specially dedicated it to the old man and asked the old man to teach the Tao. After the old man took it, he gave the pearl to the boy to let him buy cakes, and the boy exchanged the pearl for more than thirty burnt cakes, and asked He Zhizhang to eat. He Zhizhang thought to himself that the jewel was specially given to the old man, but the old man used it so lightly that his heart was very unhappy. The old man had already sensed it and said, "Daoist techniques can be learned, but where is the struggle?" The heart of pity does not stop, and there is no reason for The Tao to succeed. It is necessary to go deep into the mountains and valleys, and to explore and find it diligently and intently, which is not something that the city dynasty can teach. He Zhizhang listened to quite a bit of experience, understood the meaning of the old man, and said goodbye to the old man. After a few days, the old man was gone. He Zhizhang then requested to resign his post and return to his hometown.
