Wu Gaofei: The college's official requirements: "Image regulation content - self-introduction (within 1 minute), studio oral broadcast, can be broadcast, review, special article; Optional content (theme and content of your choice; Live reports, interviews, oral broadcasts, variety show studios, locations, etc.)."
Although it is not explicitly stated, it can be seen from the genre and broadcast format of the program that the Academy wants us to produce news programs. The basic nature of broadcasting is journalistic, so there is nothing wrong with the academy stipulating this. My work differs in:
1, the use of lens language for a montage narrative with a beginning and an end, of course, the relevant knowledge is sold now, and the connection is also very blunt;
2, did not treat the business display as the center of the whole film. According to the common practice, the business display is the main body of the small film, and the creative picture can be used as a transition and connection between multiple display, while I am the opposite, I strive to tell a story and a plot with the lens, and the business display only plays a role in connecting.
Broadcast China: Many netizens have read your works and feel "good Wong Kar-wai", how do you think of this evaluation?
Wu Gaofei: Wong Kar-wai is right, haha, I deliberately imitated two Wang-style plots, the first one imitated "Chongqing Forest", the second imitation filmed "Fancy Years", these two movies are Wong Kar-wai's masterpieces, and integrate the characteristics of most Hong Kong films, so everyone can know as soon as the music rings. This idea was determined after careful consideration, and at the beginning of the concept, it was intended to use two imitations to add color to my news business display, and later found that it was a good narrative tool and a deep memory point: "Heavy" fragment I used to open the whole film and show the image, "Flower" was used to express romantic, illusory, regretful college memories.
Broadcast China: What is the intention and connotation of your work? Can you interpret your creative ideas?
Wu Gaofei: Youth does not die, my heart is young. There are two story lines, the first is a dream story, in the dream through the two years after graduation I came to review the university life, introduce their basic situation, explain why not go in the direction of the news, create a good humor effect, this line has a higher artistic content, two tributes to Wong Kar-wai in this line;
The second line is that I am in my senior year of college and am deciding whether to engage in the e-sports industry, although I have heard a lot of negative suggestions and my negative voices after graduation, I still chose the e-sports industry without hesitation, expressing a stubborn, unyielding, and independent personality. ("Esports" is just an image that symbolizes any possible choice I may make, and doesn't mean I'm really in esports.) ）
After making the choice, I felt suddenly enlightened, the stone in my heart landed, thinking that the university had drawn a satisfactory end, so I introduced the concept of "tree hole" in "Fancy Years", and the scene of the past flashed in front of my eyes, and finally I sealed these memories in the tree hole with mud, expressing the feeling that although I was nostalgic for the memories of youth, I had to enter the next stage of life.
Broadcast China: You said that in the past three years, you miss your sophomore year the most. What does this year mean for you?
Wu Gaofei: This is a year I grew up in an instant. One person made me realize the innocence and purity of feelings, and one person taught me a serious lesson.
Broadcast China: Three years ago, you were admitted to the China Transmission, can you recall what efforts you made to get closer to this dream?
Wu Gaofei: First of all, the language environment in Guangdong is unfavorable to the broadcast art examination, under such harsh conditions, it is very difficult to change guangpu and try to adhere to Mandarin, the only one who speaks standard Mandarin in school is regarded as an outlier by everyone, but this does not affect my strong heart; secondly, I insist on doing morning work every day, no matter the wind and rain, to consolidate oral muscle memory; also, after getting the certificate, I am like crazy to learn culture, because my own foundation is not bad, so I know that as long as I work hard, I will be able to improve my grades In the end I was 9 points ahead of a line.
Broadcast China: What are your achievements in professional studies in the four years of college?
Wu Gaofei: I rank in the middle of the class, like to lie flat, I must get the grades I should have, I don't pursue unnecessary grades.

Wu Gaofei: I intend to aspire to the development of sports, variety shows and performances.
