Abstract:In order to improve the approval rate of maps, this paper conducts statistical analysis and research on the number of maps accepted, the types of maps and the approval rate of maps from 2015 to 2023. The results show that in recent years, the number of maps accepted and the pass rate have increased significantly, but there are still 10%~20% of the maps that do not meet the review requirements every year, and the problems are mainly concentrated in the two major links of map submission and map content technical review, which restricts the further improvement of the map review pass rate. This paper discusses how to effectively reduce the incidence of problematic maps, improve the pass rate of map review, provide reference for units and personnel, and improve the quality of maps by avoiding common problems in map acceptance, mastering the common key error-prone points in maps, and standardizing the use of map reference materials.
