Italy football giants - A.S. Roma Roma, one of the most legendary football clubs, released renderings of the new stadium designed by the world's leading sports architecture firm· POPULOUS, following a July 24 meeting between its vice president, Ryan Friedkin, and its chief executive Lina Souloukou, ·· Rome mayor, with Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri.
These designs reflect the innovative nature of the project and the many benefits it brings to fans and residents at large. The release of the project video was also well received, showcasing the unique concept and modern design of the new course. At the heart of this design vision is the new Curva Sud, which is expected to be the largest curved grandstand area in Europe and a testament to the determination and passion of Roma fans.
Founded in 1927 by the merger of three teams from the city of Rome, the crest of the club was based on the emblem of the city of Rome, a she-wolf breastfeeding two babies. The club is a three-time winner of the Italy Serie A and won the UEFA Conference League on 25 May 2022.

As the stewards of the proud Roma Football Club, we are committed to creating a space that embodies the spirit and tradition of the club, while being a global symbol of innovation and excellence, as well as a model of environmental responsibility. ”
The commitment to making the new stadium a model of environmental responsibility is in line with the club's values and the city's broader urban development goals, which also echoes the mayor's request.
The two sides discussed and agreed on a roadmap to move forward with the project, including the formation of a working group focused on all aspects of development. These working groups will ensure that the project runs smoothly and with serious attention to environmental standards and community involvement.

The expected completion date for AS Roma's new stadium is 2027, on the occasion of the club's 100th anniversary.
