Olympic Marseille FC has officially announced that 28-year-old Denmark defender Pierre-Emile · Hojbjerg has joined Tottenham Hotspur FC. The transfer is on loan with a mandatory buyout clause and is worth up to €20 million.
Pierre-Emile · Hojbjerg, who began his career at FC Bayern Munich and then spent four years at Southampton before joining Tottenham Hotspur in August 2020 and was once regarded as a first-class midfielder in the Premier League, who was once praised by managers Jose · Jose Mourinho as the "smart bastard" he wanted most. During his four years at Tottenham Hotspur, he made 184 appearances, contributing 10 goals and 16 assists.
Previously, Olympic Marseille FC had signed Mason · Greenwood from Manchester United FC for a transfer fee of up to €31.6 million.
