Zhao Yue studied piano since childhood, graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a bachelor's degree, and master's degree from the Central Conservatory of Music, under the supervision of the famous tenor singer Professor Yan Weiwen. He is now a young tenor of the China Coal Mine Cultural and Labor Troupe and a member of the Chinese Musicians Association.
Zhao Yue's singing is inherited in tradition, innovated in seeking change, and integrates pop and fashion elements into the singing style. He is known as one of the representatives of "cross-border bel canto". He is proficient in the three singing methods of Mei Min Tong, singing softly, with a high pitch and a voice that is both thick and clear. In 2019, he participated in the second season of Hunan Satellite TV's vocal competition program "Sound into People's Hearts", and sang many cross-border works such as "Arirang", "On the Side of Water", "New Heaven and Earth", "The Power of Time" and so on, which were widely popular.

Zhao Yue has won the "Huanglong Music Season Teacher Actor Group Gold Award" and "The 12th Chinese Music Golden Bell Award" - Golden Bell Star (Ethnic Group) and other vocal awards. Performances have been performed in major festivals, theatres and concert halls at home and abroad.
