Public information shows that Wang Jianxin has been engaged in journalism for a long time. Previously, he was executive deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission.

Wang Jianxin worked for the People's Daily. In 2002, he said in a self-introduction that he was born in 1972 in Xiangyin County, Hunan Province, a poor family and a difficult life, but the warmth of the family gave him a kind, modest and upward, tenacious character. According to a March 2017 report, Wang Jianxin had been appointed executive deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Mo Gaoyi, former director of the Propaganda Department of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, was born in December 1964 and has been serving in Guangdong for a long time, serving as secretary of the Shaoguan Municipal Party Committee in 2017, director of the Propaganda Department of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in December 2018, and head of the discipline inspection and supervision team of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Discipline Inspection Commission in the People's Daily and a member of the editorial board of the People's Daily in March last year.
