#游走日本# "Takanawa Church" is a Protestant church affiliated with the Japanese Christian Church in Minato-ku, Tokyo, founded in 1882. The current chapel was built in 1933 and is the first church in Japan in the Wright-style style, designed by modern Japanese architect Kenhiko Okami. Kenhiko Okami was a protégé of Frank Loy Wright, the architect of the Imperial Hotel in Japan, and was inspired by Wright, and most of his works are in Wright's style. Wright is known as one of the greatest architects of modern times, and was already widely known during his lifetime, and his organic architectural style of advocating nature is known as "Wright architecture". In 2004, Takanawa Church was selected as one of Tokyo's Top 100 Buildings.
