It is understood that the vegetable farms, supermarkets and other living facilities in the Gubei community are mostly concentrated in the middle section of Golden City Road, which has brought inconvenience to the daily life of residents in the east and west areas of Golden City Road. Since the beginning of this year, Hongqiao Street has taken the lead in launching the "Farmer's Market" convenience service activity in the Gubei Civic Center in response to the needs of residents in the Gubei area.
"In order to continuously improve and optimize the quality of service, we have also been collecting opinions and suggestions from residents during the opening of the market, and everyone hopes to set up the 'farmer's market' at their doorstep to make it more convenient to buy groceries." Hongqiao Street introduced.
To this end, Meitian Non-Staple Food Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise affiliated to the sub-district joint district, has further sunk the farmer's market from the civic center to the community, so that more residents can buy fresh, diverse, inexpensive and high-quality agricultural and sideline products at their doorsteps, which coincides with the original intention of the "Meitian Preferred Community" activity carried out by Meitian Non-staple Food Co., Ltd.
According to Huang Rongyong, deputy secretary of the general party branch of Meitian Non-staple Food Co., Ltd., the market brought more than 40 kinds of products, not only the vegetables in the "Qiqi Affordable Vegetables" counter of Meitian Vegetable Market into the community, but also local seasonal fruits, as well as special products from Yunnan, Qinghai and other east-west cooperation areas.
"These 'Qiqi affordable vegetables' are through the direct delivery sales model, the fresh vegetables from the suburban fields are directly delivered to urban residents, and sold at a price 30% lower than the market, so that more residents can further benefit when buying vegetables."
Up to now, the two sides have successfully held 9 market activities in residential areas such as Ronger, Rongsan, and Hongmei.
