According to the document requirements of the Alxa League Campus Food Safety Investigation and Rectification Special Class on "Strengthening the Food Safety Management of Bulk Food in School Canteens", from May 14th to 16th, the Ejinaqi Market Supervision and Administration Bureau carried out a special inspection on the supplier units of the canteens of schools (including childcare institutions) in the whole banner.
The law enforcement officers inspected whether the supplier license qualifications provided by the school canteen are legal and valid, whether there is an over-scope business behavior, whether the production date and shelf life of the food in the purchase bill issued meet the requirements, whether the food safety management system such as purchase inspection and certification and ticket request is strictly implemented, and whether the rice, noodles, oil, eggs, milk, meat, vegetables, seasonings, etc., which are in high demand and used frequently in the daily procurement of the school canteen, have product certificates and the same batch (commission) inspection (testing) report. Up to now, a total of 7 school (including childcare institutions) canteens have been inspected, and it was found that the supplier qualifications and purchase bills requested by 1 school canteen were incomplete.
In the next step, the Ejinaqi Market Supervision Bureau will continue to strengthen the supervision and inspection of school canteens, urge them to carry out self-inspection and self-correction on a regular basis, strictly implement the working mechanism of "daily control, weekly inspection, and monthly scheduling", and entrust a third-party inspection agency to carry out supervision and sampling inspection of the food of school canteen suppliers in combination with the 2024 food safety supervision and sampling work plan, so as to fully protect the "safety on the tip of the tongue" of teachers and students.
