Wang Juan, a key member of the team and an associate professor at the School of Pharmacy at Tianjin University, said: "The new bacteriostatic agent we have developed is as effective as the pesticides currently on the market, but at a lower cost and more environmentally friendly. This means that farmers can not only reduce the economic burden when using this bacteriostatic agent, but also reduce environmental pollution and achieve green planting. ”
