After nearly a month of intense construction, Changyang Zhenshui 4th Road has now resumed its opening to traffic.
With a total length of 2.02 kilometers, Shuisi Road connects Jingshen Road and Qingyuan North Street, and spans leisure spaces such as Xiaoqing River, Changyang Farm, and Firefly Ecological Park, which is a convenient road from the south of Changyang to the Liangxiang area.
On April 7, according to the overall arrangement for the construction of the third batch of post-disaster recovery and reconstruction infrastructure projects in Fangshan District (Shuisi Road, Changyang Town), the District Infrastructure Construction Co., Ltd. officially carried out the circuit breaking construction of Shuisi Road. In order to ensure the travel of the surrounding people, Changyang Town cooperated with the project arrangement to issue a road construction bypass notice in advance, while strictly controlling the quality, the construction time was compactly arranged, and the road repair work was expedited to carry out, after more than 20 days of intense repair and acceptance, the water four roads were reopened to traffic on April 30.
"As soon as Shuisi Road was opened to traffic, we received the news in the residents, and everyone is looking forward to this road repair project, which has improved the ability of the road section to resist floods, and everyone is happy and relieved!" Mr. Wang, a resident, said happily.
It is reported that in order to fully restore and rebuild the damaged road section to the pre-disaster level, the road repair carried out a sectional renovation of the water road, demolished more than 4,000 square meters of new damaged asphalt pavement, more than 800 square meters of new concrete pavement, and focused on the renovation of 340 square meters of Xiaoqinghe bridge pavement on the fourth water road. The protection standards of local road sections should be appropriately improved, and the flood prevention and disaster resistance of roads and bridges should be improved through measures such as setting up retaining walls and raising the road surface. In order to facilitate the fitness and leisure of surrounding residents, guardrails have also been installed on both sides of the Xiaoqinghe Bridge on Shuisi Road, and the construction of sidewalks is being expedited, and the construction is expected to be completed within this week.
