As the core of the system, the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system must be built based on international rules, which requires us to cultivate a team of general practitioners with an international perspective. Jiahui's efforts in this direction have made significant contributions to the development of Shanghai's health service industry. I sincerely wish the hospital continued progress under the leadership of all leaders, and hope that this training can become a model for general practitioner training in Shanghai, and its influence and professional level can continue to rise. ”

Looking ahead, I am looking forward to the future. With the strong support of the National Health Commission and all leaders, I believe that through the joint efforts of our team, we can achieve deeper cooperation, make full use of international resources, improve the all-round capabilities of doctors, and promote the further development of general medicine. Teng Guoliang, Director of Pediatrics at Jiahui Healthcare, shared the importance of pediatrics in general practice:

"During my time working in specialist hospitals, I had a limited understanding of the competence of a general practitioner. However, with an in-depth understanding of the field of general practice, I realized that the ability of GPs to deal with a wide range of patients, especially pediatric patients, far exceeded my expectations. Although paediatricians treat about 90,000 children each year, another 40,000 to 50,000 patients rely on general practitioners in other specialties such as ophthalmology, dentistry, otolaryngology, and especially in emergency departments. While there are four well-known children's hospitals in Shanghai, hospitals like Zhongshan and Huashan do not have paediatrics, highlighting the need for training in general practice. This training can enhance the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment skills of doctors and provide patients with more comprehensive medical services. ”

"Jiahui's general practice features go beyond the emphasis on comprehensive training and communication skills. Our mission is to demonstrate the full spectrum of primary care, to focus on disease treatment and prevention, and to shoulder our global health mission. To reiterate, internationalization is not just about receiving foreign patients or interacting with foreign doctors, it is a deep insight into global health. This requires us to continue to maintain a positive and enterprising attitude, continue to explore, and have the courage to innovate in order to achieve continuous progress. ”
