Before the launch of the AVATR 12, the brand's sales were tepid, with about 2,000 units a month, but the AVATR 12 quickly collected 40,000 orders after its launch. The price range of the product is 265,800 yuan to 400,800 yuan. According to the Shell financial reporter, this car is still in short supply.

In terms of styling, AVATR 12 offers a new design, that is, the rear window is closed, and the left and right rearview mirrors are replaced by electronic eyes, so that the driver can observe the rear through the left and right screens and the streaming rearview mirror. Such a design is relatively stylish, and AVATR is one of the first brands in the world to adopt this type of design. However, the model that the reporter test-drove did not adopt this design.

Specifically, the front seats of AVATR 12 are all "zero-gravity seats", which provide heating, ventilation and massage functions, and the legs provide electric leg rests, which has a better riding feeling. The interior of the car is heavily wrapped in Nappa leather and soft leather, and there is basically no plastic within reach.
There is also plenty of space in the rear, and the rear floor can easily accommodate a medium-sized dog when the driver is seated. The car is integrated with the HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit provided by Huawei, which is faster in voice response.
In terms of configuration, AVATR 12 also provides HALO interactive screen, intelligent frameless induction electric door, rear windowless hatchback tail, sail active lifting rear wing, 15.6-inch central control screen and 35.4-inch 4K integrated remote screen.

Dynamic: The driving mode mimics that of a fuel vehicle, and Huawei's intelligent driving experience is flawed
AVATR 12 offers three driving modes, which are Sport, Comfort and Eco. In the energy-saving mode, the kinetic energy recovery function is strong, and the drag feeling is obvious after the accelerator pedal is released, while the comfort mode imitates the experience of a fuel vehicle, and the kinetic energy recovery function will slowly intervene when the accelerator pedal is released, and there will be a more linear acceleration experience after pressing the pedal.

The vehicle applies air suspension system + CDC dynamic suspension damping control, and the overall suspension adjustment is comfortable, with high shock absorption and good acceleration performance. Thanks to the use of a large number of soundproofing materials, the sound insulation of the vehicle is better than that of other cars in the same price range.
In terms of energy consumption, if the speed reaches 120 km/h, the energy consumption is close to 20 kWh/h, and when driving on urban roads, this medium and large sedan can basically achieve 14 kWh/h.

In terms of intelligent driving, Huawei has provided a full set of solutions for AVATAR, and the vehicle is equipped with three lidars as standard. At present, AVATR 12 has been able to launch intelligent driving pilot nationwide. In terms of actual experience, the highway is still better than the urban area, and the traffic on the ring road is also good in the traffic congestion after work. In addition to automatically following the car, it can also actively change lanes to overtake. Sometimes the AVATR 12 will be better than some drivers in lane change judgment.
However, if the route becomes complicated, the vehicle is also prone to misjudgment.
The AVATR 12 is large in size, with a length, width and height of 5020 mm/1450 mm/1999 mm and a wheelbase of 3020 mm. The larger size of the new car makes it easy for the driver to have a "headache" when parking, but its automatic parking function is easier to use and can help the driver park the car smoothly into the parking space.
