The construction of the upper section of the Yongxing River in Fengtai County will start construction on November 12, 2023, and the water storage conditions are now met, and it is decided to store water from the lower reaches of the Yongxing River to the upstream on May 14~17, 2024. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the water storage work and maintain the safety of the lives and property of the people along the river. In accordance with the "Water Law of the People's Republic of China", "Flood Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant laws and regulations, the notice is as follows:
1. During the impoundment period, it is strictly forbidden for any unit or individual to engage in any activities that affect safety, such as swimming, fishing, and playing in the water.
2. During the impoundment period, the soil and loose accumulations are prone to collapse and slip along the banks of the river, and individuals should consciously stay away from dangerous areas such as slopes and accumulations.
3. During the impoundment period, residents around the river should take good care of minors, mentally handicapped persons, and deaf-mute persons at home. The township (town) governments along the river have increased safety publicity, educated and guided the masses to consciously stay away from the impounded river, and ensured the safety of the people's lives and property.
