In the Xili Village Picking Garden, the red cherries hang all over the branches, exuding bursts of fragrance, crystal clear under the sunlight, mouth-watering. Tourists from nearby counties and cities shuttle through the cherry orchards with fruit baskets in hand, picking and tasting while taking photos and checking in, and enjoying the fun of picking.
"I have planted nearly 100 cherry trees, as well as plum trees and peach trees, and I have an average income of 500 to 1,000 yuan a day in the near future, and there will be a little more tourists who come to pick on weekends, and I will have an income of about 40,000 yuan throughout the year." Villager Cui Shuanghua said happily.
Zhang Jimin, secretary of the party branch of Xilizhai Village, told reporters that there are more than 20 acres of cherries in the village, and the output value per mu is expected to be more than 4,500 yuan, and the total output value of the cherry planting in the village will be about 90,000 yuan.
In recent years, Xili Village, a vegetable garden market town, has actively explored diversified ways to get rich from reality, and continuously guided villagers to develop new agriculture independently through the model of "party branch + cooperative + farmer", and formed a picking scene of "cherries in spring and plums in summer" through the development of planting cherries, plums and other fruit trees, realizing the double improvement of rural temperament and quality of life of farmers, and building a foundation for the construction of livable and beautiful villages.
