52nd International Congress of Esperanto for Children and Adolescents

Theme: "Language Journey: Exploring the World Together"
The 52nd International Esperanto Congress for Children and Adolescents will be held in Arusha, Tanzania, from 3 to 10 August 2024, together with the 109th International Esperanto Congress.
The theme of the conference was "Language Journey: Exploring the World Together". With an emphasis on the idea of adventure, discovery, and learning, this theme is perfect for kids. Many activities were scheduled during the congress, such as treasure hunts, art workshops, outdoor theaters, excursions, and of course, Esperanto classes. Esperanto speakers who bring their children to international conventions can learn more.
The organizers expect about 40 children and teenagers of all ages who can speak Esperanto to attend (at least knowing how to express their needs and desires in basic and clear Esperanto). Teenagers over the age of 17 who are fluent in Esperanto can become activity assistants, and children under the age of 7 usually need to be accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian during the IIK.
The congress will be held at the "Catholic Archdiocese of Arusha", 1 km from the conference center where the International Congress of Esperanto is held.
The conference center is an apartment building with beautiful gardens, meeting rooms, kitchens, and comfortable bedrooms. Bed linen is provided in the rooms, and bath towels can be provided by the building's caretaker, but we recommend that children bring their own.
