57th International Conference and Symposium of Teachers of Esperanto

The International Association of Teachers of Esperanto (ILEI), which is committed to serving Esperanto teachers, is celebrating its 75th year. As we all know, in addition to the publication of two important magazines, the International Journal of Education (IPR) and the Friends of Youth, there is an annual congress for our educators, which welcomes not only Esperanto teachers, but also teachers of other languages and disciplines. Students, those interested in teaching, and Esperantists of any language level are also welcome to attend.
In 2024, the 57th International Conference of Teachers of Esperanto will once again be held in a hybrid format in Maceió, a "paradise city" in northeastern Brazil.
The theme of the congress was "Esperanto for equitable education", and the topic was of interest not only to Esperanto speakers, but also to teachers of other languages and disciplines, university professors and researchers, journalists and the general public.
In addition to keynote speeches and lectures, you can also take part in excursions, language festivals, international evenings, art performances and much more.
