The first phase of the Hengsha Xinzhou supporting freight terminal project successfully passed the delivery acceptance

Recently, the first fully assembled wharf in the outer port area of China - the first phase of the supporting freight terminal of Hengsha Xinzhou Modern Agricultural Industrial Park of the Third Harbor Bureau has successfully passed the delivery acceptance.

It is reported that the project is located on the north side of Hengsha Island, Chongming District, Shanghai, adjacent to the south side of the Beigang Waterway at the mouth of the Yangtze River, and is the first fully assembled design and construction wharf in China, and is also the only freight channel for the entry and exit of production materials and agricultural products in Shanghai Modern Agricultural Industrial Park (Hengsha Xinzhou). The total length of the wharf is 390 meters, with five 3,000-ton general berths arranged along the front and rear edges, and the wharf is connected by a 740-meter-long approach bridge between the wharf and the land, with a design capacity of 7.86 million tons per year during the construction period.

Different from the traditional wharf construction, the construction of the fully assembled wharf adopts the construction principle of "Lego bricks", which transforms the pile sinking cap set of the original wharf main body into a 30-meter-long super-large prefabricated lower beam, and the prefabricated and cast-in-place structural parts such as longitudinal beams, longitudinal beams, and panels gather super-large π-type prefabricated beams and slabs, and reduce the cast-in-place concrete process through refined design, and the assembly rate of prefabricated installation components is as high as 80%, which is nearly half shorter than the construction period of traditional wharf.

The project team needs to set up 804 pile foundations and install 221 large-scale prefabricated components within half a year, and complete nearly 20,000 cubic meters of cast-in-situ concrete for nodes and surface layers, 544 small prefabricated parts such as horizontal braces and ship components, 210,000 cubic meters of dredging along the front and rear edges of the wharf, 2 wharf production and auxiliary rooms, flood control, environmental protection, fire protection, power supply, communication and other ancillary facilities construction. In the early stage of the project, the project team divided the project into districts with reference to the construction plan, synchronized construction operations in multiple areas, reasonably arranged daily, weekly and monthly construction plans, scientifically coordinated and dynamically prepared construction plans, and achieved daily and weekly protection, weekly and monthly security.

During the offshore pile sinking construction, the project team set up a joint water and land dispatch team to ensure the rapid and efficient progress of the pile foundation project. After the three piling ships and the corresponding transport ships at the construction site enter the site, the joint dispatch of water and land will reasonably arrange the anchorage position in the water area of less than 400 meters, accurately control the stay time and space position of each construction ship around the clock, make full use of the fluctuation gap of each tide, and insert the seam for pile sinking operation. After 100 days, the 774 PHC pipe piles and 30 steel pipe piles of the 5 berths were successfully completed, half a month ahead of the original construction plan.

Different from the small components of the traditional wharf with uniform size and specifications, the fully assembled wharf in Hengsha Xinzhou has five different types of large-scale prefabricated components, the longest is 30 meters, the heaviest is nearly 230 tons, and most of them are asymmetrical structures. If you want to do a good job, you must first sharpen your tools. In order to overcome the installation problems of different types of oversized prefabricated components, the project team used a new type of full-swing crane ship and a number of dispatching transport vessels to cooperate and install together. At the same time, the creative development of general integrated spreaders, through the continuous improvement of the hoisting process, effectively improve the installation accuracy and efficiency of components. With the full cooperation of the project team, the project department installed 59 large-scale prefabricated lower beams, 162 oversized special-shaped π plates and 225 hollow core slabs within three months, and all large-scale prefabricated components weighed more than 200 tons.

As the first wharf off the coast of Beigang at the mouth of the Yangtze River in Shanghai, the first phase of the supporting freight terminal project of Hengsha Xinzhou Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is the vanguard and pioneer of the development of green industries in Hengsha Xinzhou. After the completion of the project, it will greatly alleviate the transportation pressure of the industrial park, greatly improve the timeliness and convenience of cargo transportation, and further accelerate the construction of the park and industrial transformation and upgrading, and optimize the layout of ports along the Yangtze River Estuary, which is of great significance to the high-quality development of modern ecological and smart agriculture in the Yangtze River Estuary.
