If you do not forgive them, you will not forgive them, what do you want? Set up a secret network and set up strict laws, do you want to use the most severe criminal laws to deprive the people of the world of righteousness?

Born by nature, he does not want to be distorted. Righteous talent, unwilling to be deprived of it. Since nature is innate, it is reasonable, and it will not flood for long. Virtue is both natural and legitimate, and will not be inclined into evil for a long time. The nature of the people of the world is neither overflowing nor tilted, who needs you to govern the world. That's why I said, it's better to raise your noble hand and spare the world.

As soon as the world is governed, it will be bad, and once it is reasoned, it will be chaotic.

Let me give you two extreme examples. In the past, Yao was a good king, treated the people well, made people smile and indulged in nature, sought pleasure, and lost the due tranquility, and this is how Yao governed the world. In the past, he was a bad king, abusing the people, making people depressed and depressed, suffering and suffering, and losing the joy they deserved. This is how he governs the world. Losing tranquility and losing happiness, the two extremes deviate from the righteousness and morality of the people in the world, and the evil consequences are the same. A king, whether he is good or bad, his policy has deviated from righteousness for a long time, and the world is not chaotic.

This thing in the world must not be governed, but can only be self-governing and self-sufficient.

Nature created man, and man is a little nature. The human body inherits the two qi of yin and yang and realizes life. The yin and yang qi in the human body and the yin and yang qi in nature induce each other and circulate synchronously. There are joys and angers in human affection, joy is yang, and anger is yin. Yao makes the people of the world happy, and the great joy consumes the yang energy, and the great joy makes the people of the world angry, and the great anger consumes the yin energy. If the yin and yang qi of the people in the world are excessively depleted, it will interfere with the circulation of yin and yang in nature. If the yin and yang cycle of nature is disrupted, the seasons will be from time to time, the cold and heat will be out of balance, and the climate will be abnormal. Abnormal weather plagues the crops, plagues, and ultimately harms man. Isn't this retribution?

It is not only the physical injury that is harmed, but the human heart has already been harmed. Because of improper mood and unstable mentality, people's behavior is restless, their thoughts are uncertain, and their plans are negligent, and their careers will never be successful. If he doesn't succeed in the right thing, he will engage in crooked ways, or pretend to be hypocritical, and he has participated in the role of filial piety, Shi Yu played the loyal minister, or the ruthless evildoer, and the thief was the king of thieves. Decent villains are all psychopaths. Isn't this a victim's heart?

The hearts of the people in the world have been victimized, and so many decent villains have emerged in society. Decency is the so-called goodness, such as the behavior of Zeng Shenshiyu, so much, so much, the world's treasury is not enough to pay bonuses. The villain is the so-called evil, such as the act of stealing, so much, so much, the prison of the world is not enough to lock up the villain. Although the world is big, although the country is strong, rewarding the good and punishing the evil, it is still powerless. From the civilized era of the Xia Shang Dynasty to this day, the official is busy day and night, busy rewarding the good and punishing the evil, making a vigorous noise, how can there be leisure to care for people's natural virtue. The people are also uneasy, because of greed and loss of tranquility, because of fear of punishment and unhappy, how can they be interested in doing serious things and being honest people.

Tranquility and happiness are the right things for people. Righteousness is righteousness, which is in line with nature. The good king Yao indulges the people's nature, and the bad king's nature binds the people, which also deviates from people's righteousness. The two of them rule the world like this, can they not make a mess?

How does the king govern the world if he does not go to extremes, and does not learn from Yao or Ji? Will it be better?

Generally speaking, the kings of the past dynasties ruled the world and held up eight standards head-on: brightness, wisdom, benevolence, righteousness, propriety, happiness, holiness, and wisdom. The king thought that if the people fell in love with the eight standards and fulfilled them one by one, the world would be very wonderful. What about the actual situation?

Aiming? The result is an addiction to all sorts of phenomena.

Love Satoshi? The result is confusion over the noisy cries.

Ai Ren? The result is a fierce criticism of inhumanity and a denial of righteousness.

Love righteousness? The result is severe punishment for injustice, which is unreasonable.

Love gifts? The result is a technologization of etiquette and a mere formality.

Philharmonic? The result is a culture of lewd pleasure.

Love the saint? The result is the academicization of sanctity, and only the six arts remain.

Aichi? As a result, it has contributed to the culture of false accusations.

If the social order is good and the people keep to themselves, it is okay to hold these eight standards high, or not to raise them, and there will be no major problems. If the society is abnormal, and the people are restless and do not abide by themselves, if you still hold these eight standards high, you will tighten the restraints, hurt their nature, and will aggravate the toss and delay their right karma. If the nature is hurt, the karma is delayed, and the world will be worse and more chaotic, strange, what you have raised high on the peak is obviously a scourge, and everyone in the world is blind, worship it sincerely, and resolutely defend it. Oh my God, they're so confused! I thought they knew in their hearts that they had dealt with the eight things, but I didn't know that they took it seriously and regarded the eight things as gods. Cutting off meat and fish, hurting the sex, and being physically and mentally clean can preach, and kneeling and sitting upright are allowed to listen. Playing Shao music, dancing and dancing, singing hymns, and performing rituals, get the eight to be offered. I can't laugh or cry when I see it, what can I do!

The king used eight standards to govern the world, and the reality was so disappointing.

Therefore, it is better for a wise gentleman not to rule the world. If you are forced to sit on the throne and reign over the world, then you had better do nothing, raise your noble hand, and spare the world. If you can do nothing, let it go, and forgive it, the people will be able to keep their own peace, and the world will be autonomous and self-sufficient.

Inaction is not a passive abandonment, but a positive respect for and cherishing people. Therefore, the sage said: "If he treats the world with an attitude of respecting life, give him the world." He treats the world with an attitude of cherishing life, so pass it on to him. ”

If there is such a gentleman, the world belongs to him, then it would be good. He is in a calm and happy mood, neither working hard for his heart, liver, spleen, lungs and kidneys, outputting any benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith, to educate the people of the world, nor bothering his ears and eyes, using what to use to listen and discern to supervise the people of the world. He is idle and immovable, and his image is as high as a dragon, which is seen in the world. He was silent and his voice was like thunder, and the whole world heard it. He shows some kind of mysterious miracle, quietly affects nature, drives nature in the dark, calmly reaps miraculous results, and does nothing to achieve great success, so that the people are prosperous day by day, and all things are prosperous. At that time, the world was self-governing and self-reliant, so what turn could it be for my generation of laymen to come up with some bad ideas to govern the world.

Mr. Cui Qu, an official in the education field, came to visit Lao Dan and asked him how to govern the world. The answer of the master of inaction, Lao Dan, made Mr. Cui Qu angry, and he couldn't help but ask: "Don't govern?" It's an easy way to put it. But how do you tell me to save people's hearts?"

Lao Dan said: "I advise you to be cautious and not to disturb people's hearts. The human heart is the most sensitive in the world. A soft nail, half a sentence of criticism, it sinks, dying; With a good face and half a word of encouragement, it was motivated and ready to move. If you sink it, you will fold, and if you go up, it will take off. Seven up and eight down, tossing and tossing, it's bitter enough, and it's restless all my life. Gently knead, the iron core can become soft; Pinch hard, and compassion can harden. Heart, heart, cut by a sickle, stabbed by a sharp knife, carved by a carved knife, gnawed by a frustrated knife, full of scars, a touch of pain. Don't heat it up, beware of burning into a fire; Don't chill it, lest it freeze into a piece of ice. The human heart is the fastest in the world. Thoughts flew all over Kyushu, but in a flash. When the heart moves, people seem to be suspended at the zenith, unstable; When the heart is quiet, people seem to be submerged at the bottom of the sea, lonely and silent. In this world, there is only one thing that loves freedom and control, and the most arrogant and does not obey orders, and that is the human heart!"

Lao Dan said: "Our ancestor, the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor, loves the people, loves them with kindness, teaches the people, and guides them with righteousness. It was he who unconsciously took the bad head and used benevolence and righteousness to interfere with people's hearts, and the later good king Grandpa Yao and Grandpa Shun picked up the bad ones. Yao Ye Shun Ye boiled his heart and liver, and he suffered hard to bring out benevolence and righteousness. He also formulated moral norms and codes of conduct to ensure the popularization of benevolence and righteousness, so as to train the people of the world to become benevolent and righteous activists. Yao Shun bowed to benevolence and righteousness, personally ran errands to inspect, climbed the mountain and climbed the thighs without flesh, and waded through the water so that the calves did not grow hair. They are so diligent in government, it is still difficult to popularize benevolence and righteousness, because there are too many anti-benevolence and anti-righteousness diehards, and Yao Shun's bitter words are not effective. Take Yao, for example, he drove his political enemies Huandou to the southern border, he sent the princes to the western border, and he exiled the minister of water conservancy to the northern border. Speaking of violence, Yao won; Speaking of benevolence and righteousness, Yao lost. There is no need to mention Shun. All kinds of facts have proved that they cannot turn the people of the world around, and they have failed to popularize benevolence and righteousness. ”

Lao Dan also said: "When history develops to the third generation of Xia and Shang, the situation is even more terrifying. Benevolence and righteousness gave birth to deformed twins, each of whom went to extremes and scared the world to death. The bad one is so bad that it doesn't make sense, the tyrant Xia Jila, the king of thieves, and the thieves are all there; The good one is too good to be reasonable, the filial son has participated in the loyal minister Shi Yu. In addition, there are two major factions of scolding, one is Confucianism and the other is Mohist, water and fire are incompatible, and social contradictions are intensified, which can be seen everywhere; Be suspicious of one another, for you are pleased with me; deceive one another, for you are foolish; slander one another, because you have hated me and are good; Mock each other, because you are false and I am true. Contradictions cause internal friction and greatly damage the vitality of society. Splitting morality and doing its own thing leads to discouragement. The pursuit of knowledge is used in hard work, which leads to interpersonal disputes, social unrest, the propaganda of benevolence and righteousness has completely failed, the official has made a sharp turn, and begging for punishment has been made. The creation of a new criminal law to keep a disobedient populace under strict control is like a carpenter flicking an ink line against an unrighteous tree. Inventing new instruments of torture and brutally harming prisoners who do not confess is like a carpenter using an axe and saw to drill and chisel against silent wood. The world is in a mess, who is to blame? The sin lies with the saints, and it is they who interfere with people's hearts with righteousness to make it like that. tossed the people of the world, and the rulers also lived a comfortable life. The wise men who were officials slipped away one after another, retreated to the deep mountains and old forests, and were alone. When the king is high above the temple, he is afraid of the instability of the country and is frightened. ”

In the end, Lao Dan said, "Let's see what kind of world this is." On the execution ground, those who cut off their heads, cut off their waists, and exposed their corpses are piled up into a hill! On the square, the neck locks, the flail legs, the crowd lined up in a big team! Inside and outside the city, those with broken wrists, amputated legs, cut noses, dark faces, shaved eyebrows, you can meet one after walking a short distance! The torture knife was splashed with blood, and the torture instrument was soaked with tears. Between the blood stains and tears, the two Confucian and Mo families swaggered and squeezed around, happily showing enough of the limelight. These people, ouch, are actually ashamed, and their cheeks are so much, too, too thick! What other eight criteria to talk about, saint? Wisdom? Courtesy? Happy? Benevolence? Righteousness? Bright? Clever? Who can prove that the Holy Wisdom is not the sharp edge and the sharp edge of the punishment? Who can prove that benevolence and righteousness are not rivets and nails in the instruments of torture? Before the thousands of troops charged, choose to shoot an arrow with a pleasant whistle as a signal for attack. Who can prove that the filial son and loyal minister are not tyrants, and the thieves shoot the arrows before they appear on the stage? The deeds of loyalty and filial piety sound pleasant, followed by the great darkness, the massacre. Mr. Cui Zhai, if you can't prove it, please allow me to summarize. "Hoe the holy shovel wisdom, the world is under great rule!"

The great chief of the Xuanyuan clan sat on the throne for our ancestor Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor. The Yellow Emperor proclaimed himself the Son of Heaven, based on the loess of the Central Plains, and conquered the vast Kyushu. In the nineteenth year of the reign of the Yellow Emperor, the world was one, and the ancestors were very proud, so they inspected Zhijiong Mountain, which was a sacred mountain outside the northern country. The Yellow Emperor climbed the mountain to visit Guangchengzi, who was also a master of wuweiism.

The Yellow Emperor said: "Hello, our old scholars, they reported to me that you have been cultivating the Tao for many years, you have climbed to the top, and you have completely mastered the Great Dao, so I made a special trip to ask for advice." I would like to hear you talk about what is the essence of the core of the avenue, concisely and concisely. We are considering doing two things, of course, both of which are closely related to the national economy and people's livelihood. First, it is necessary to grasp the essence of heaven and earth and use it to promote agricultural development and obtain the benefits of a bumper harvest of grains. Second, the management of yin and yang is used to promote the growth of all things and achieve the effect of ecological balance. Catch, with what tools? What kind of agency is in charge? Ask the old scholars to give us ideas and think of a way. ”

Guang Chengzi said: "The question you asked me for is purely speculative. Those things you're thinking about doing are purely technical things. In other words, you are asking too mysterious, and you are doing too trivial. In the past 19 years since you took the throne, nature has been chaotic: the clouds are weak and dense, and the rainy season is less rainy; The cold invades in advance, and the plants and trees decay before they get old; The atmosphere is cloudy, and the luminosity of the sun and moon is weakened. You are a flattering person, you are ugly, it is difficult to become a big weapon, and you are still talking nonsense about the essence of the Great Dao!"

The Yellow Emperor respectfully took his leave, retreated, and instructed his adjutant not to ask for instructions. He said, "Just because I'm already out of position." And he sent him to a hidden place at the foot of the mountain to build a hut where he lived alone. The house was completed, and the Yellow Emperor moved in. The kang bed does not use a smoking mattress, only grass and rattan. The Yellow Emperor closed his door and fasted, did not ask about politics, did not get close to women, and did not eat meat, as long as three months.

After the end of the lent period, the Yellow Emperor made a comeback, from his face to his attitude, and then went to Kongtong to see Guangchengzi.

The Yellow Emperor from the southerner room, saw Guangchengzi's head and feet in the south and north lying on the kang, staring at the outside of the north window, and had no intention of welcoming guests.

The Yellow Emperor respectfully knelt downwind, humbly had bad breath, kowtowed twice, and said: "I know that our old scholar has mastered the Great Dao, so I have come to ask for advice." Dare to ask how to cultivate yourself and strive for longevity. ”

Guang Chengzi hurriedly turned over and sat up, and said, "You are right, don't pretend anymore." Originally, what you care about is prolonging life, so why bother with the essence of the avenue. Come on, come on, sit closer. I'm interested in talking to you about the avenue, from the point of view of longevity. The essence of the so-called avenue, the play is too difficult to say, deep and incomprehensible, dark and unreal, and asking is also a vain question. Pretend to be blind, and don't see it. Pretend to be deaf, don't be deaf. The spirit is cohesive and quiet, and the self is adjusted. Be quiet, don't work your body, and don't deplete your essence, but it is possible to live forever. Because you don't look or listen, your heart is tight, and you can save yourself from the spirit and prolong your life. Single-mindedly, the five senses are safe. Knowledge is annoying, and intelligence is trapped. Grasp heaven and earth, manage yin and yang, you have this right? The essence of the yang, floating in the sky, I have investigated it for you, above the nine heavens of light. Yin Spirit, potentially, I have investigated it for you, beneath the Nine Springs of Darkness. The essence of heaven and earth has its own duties, and you want to catch it? Yin and Yang do their own thing, do you want to take care of it? Grasp your spirit, be careful not to think about it, agriculture knows its own development. Take charge of thy flesh, and let no greed overflow, for all things know how to multiply. If you don't interfere, the grain yield will not be reduced. If you don't destroy it, the ecology won't be disrupted. I don't divide myself into two, cut off the connection between body and mind, I always merge the two into one, and reconcile the cycle of yin and yang. You see, I have cultivated my self-cultivation for 1,200 years, and my body has not decayed. ”

The Yellow Emperor kowtowed twice and said, "Guangchengzi has become an immortal!"

Guang Chengzi said, "Come, sit closer." I'm also interested in talking to you about the avenue. The evolution of all things is endless, and everyone believes that there is an end. The truth of everything is difficult to guess, and everyone thinks that they can see through it early. There are many Taoist friends in the Dao I believe in, who are either emperors in the divine realm or kings in the human world. Outside the path, they enjoy the sun on the ground or hide in underground caves. Poor beings, including you, depend on the soil for life, and return to the spring soil when you die. Sooner or later, I'll break up with you, and throw myself into the never-ending gate of evolution, wandering in the land of hard-to-guess truths. Reflecting the sun and setting off the moon, I am a planet, and the earth is long. Whether it's a Taoist friend or a non-Taoist friend, I am absent-minded and immediately forget. Thirty years, one generation. I have sent away forty generations, and I have seen them live and see them die. I am the only one who remains in the world today, like a starlight in the night sky. ”

Yun will be the general who commands Yunxia in the sky, flying all over the sky and busy with work. Making clouds, raising clouds, descending clouds, gathering clouds, scattering clouds, and traveling clouds are his daily affairs. One day cruised to the East China Sea and came to Fuso. Fuso is a tall sacred tree, a ladder for the sun to ascend from the East China Sea. On the horizontal branches of Fuso, the clouds will meet Hongmeng. Hongmeng is the spirit of the heavenly vitality, and his daily work is leisurely, at this time he is dancing on the horizontal branches, clapping his thighs with both hands, and jumping with his feet together, as if he was jumping. The clouds will immediately stop flying and watch quietly. After looking at it for a long time, he asked, "Who is the old gentleman?" What are you doing here?"

Hongmeng danced non-stop, and replied: "Play!"

Yun Jiang said, "I have a question for you." ”

Hongmeng still jumped, looked up at Yun Jiang, and asked, "Yo?"

Yun Jiang said: "Old man, you can listen while jumping." In recent years, I have found that the situation in the troposphere is not good, with the upper air currents refusing to descend and the low air currents not going up. The yang above and the yin below refuse to have sexual intercourse, resulting in the yang is not mild, and the yin is uncomfortable, which can be serious! In addition, the proportion of yin, yang, wind, rain, bad luck, and bright qi in the air is abnormal, and the result is that the timing of the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter is disrupted. I am now determined to grasp the six qi, even though it is beyond my purview. I will straighten out the composition of the air, restore the proportions of the six qi to normal, keep the timing of the four seasons in order, and let me promote the growth of all things. The old gentleman will give me a staff officer. You say, how should we grasp these six qi?"

Hongmeng turned around and ignored it, still dancing, as if he was jumping, clapping his legs with both hands, jumping vertically with his feet, and singing: "No! Know! Road! No! Know! Dao!"

A series of "I don't know" poured cold water on Yun Jiang. Love the people, love all things, such benevolence, such righteous deeds, the old gentleman does not appreciate it, and Yun Jiang has no interest in practicing it. The so-called determination is also blowing.

One day three years later, Yun Jiang flew to the middle of the Yellow River Valley, came to the sky above the Song Kingdom, glided overlooking the suburbs, and there were the remnants of the Forbidden City of the Shang Dynasty crying dumbly on the field of youth, and sighed. Suddenly, he saw a person below who was jumping, but he hurriedly descended, dragging a cloud down into a thick fog, covering the field. Sure enough, it was Hongmeng dancing here, and Yun Jiang was overjoyed, hurriedly stepped forward and saluted, saying, "Immortal, do you remember me?" Immortal, remember me?"

Hongmeng said: "The branch of Fuso." ”

The cloud will kowtow twice in a row, asking Hongmeng to teach one or two.

Hongmeng stopped jumping and said, "Float and float, there is no pursuit." Stupid and stupid, I don't know where to go. Panic and sightseeing. If you see it and forget it, you don't know everything, what will teach you?"

Yun Jiang said: "I have been here for three years to serve the people and do various public welfare things, which is very popular. Later, I became smart, pretended to be stupid, and wanted to get rid of the entanglement of the people. I felt like a big fool, but the people still followed me. Wherever I go, they follow. They recorded my words and deeds, said they were models, and imitated them. It's horrible! O fairy, please guide me and let me get out of this embarrassing situation. ”

Hongmeng said: "It violates the common sense of ecology and the nature of living things, and there is no harvest in autumn, which suffers the people." Terrible, the cattle and sheep scattered, the horses jumped jobs, the pigs made circles, the chickens soared, the dogs fled, the wild beasts ran wildly, and the birds chirped at night, as if there was an earthquake. It's terrible, the grass doesn't grow in the red land, the fire burns the forest, and the insects die. Wow, what's the reason for that? There is only one reason, the official's love and service are addicted, just like you, don't worry about business, desperately govern the people, and toss every day!"

Yun Jiang said, "Then what should I do?"

Hongmeng said: "Alas, you are too deeply poisoned! Gather up the fog and float back to the sky. ”

Yun Jiang said: "It's not easy to meet immortals, it's good to listen to a word." ”

Hongmeng said: "Yo, the people are pestering you, you are pestering me." All right. From now on, just manage the clouds, don't worry about it. Fly alone and stay quiet. How the people were, they seldom asked. If you do nothing, you will always perish, you will always prosper, and there will be a destiny for you to rise and fall. Don't be discerning, don't be listening. Don't care if others welcome you or not, forget about yourself. Mixing the self into all things, denying the distinction between subject and object, and returning to the mysterious and mysterious realm. Let the spirit loosen, no longer be wise, curious, competitive, and the soul will be cleaned. All living beings do not forget their roots, and the leaves naturally return to their roots, so you don't need to remind them. The life of all things is rooted in nature, just like a baby slumbering soundly next to its mother. Once the consciousness of the subject is born, weaning is an orphan and tastes the bitterness of fate. You have to go back to your mother's arms to sleep soundly. I want to use concepts to dominate things, I want to use science to explore secrets, but in the end, it is in vain. The law is not at your mercy, what should be destroyed is still extinguished, and what should be born is still alive. ”

Yun Jiang said: "Immortals give me the gospel and teach me to be silent." I was wrong in the past, but now I understand. After saying that, he kowtowed twice, got up and said goodbye and left.

People are too vulgar, their ears are longer, and they love to inquire about other people's opinions. I was glad to hear that point of view was the same as mine; Those who do not agree with me will be unhappy when they hear it. Comrades who are in line with me and are regarded as divine friends, of course, the more the merrier; Those who are not consistent with me are regarded as potential enemies, and of course it is better to die. How did this mindset come about? It's ridiculous, but it's just trying to be in the limelight in society. Comrades are friends, and they may not run to contact him; The enemy is latent and may not run to knock him down. It's just a matter of thinking about it. Not necessarily in practice. You might as well ask, what is the purpose of wanting to be in the limelight? Afraid that he would be buried, he wanted to be different, and that's it. If you want to be different, what are the results? It's sad to say, and it's the same as everyone else. Most people in society want to be different, so they work hard day and night there. If you want to be in the limelight, you also run to the war, and there is a spare comrade red list and enemy black list hidden in your pocket, of course, it is the same as everyone else. To say that this is vulgar is not wronged at all. If you want to be disdainful, don't be in the limelight, don't be afraid of being buried, and don't be different. On the contrary, you might as well be happy with others. One person's knowledge and ability are always limited, and they cannot catch up with others. Collect the knowledge of all people and grow your own knowledge; Gather the power of many, and add your own power. This principle can be small for self-cultivation, and big for governing the country.

When it comes to governing the country, of course, it is to govern the country for the king, and some gentlemen can't hold it back, and they are eager to try, and immediately bring out the Yu King of the Xia Dynasty, the Tang King of the Shang Dynasty, and the Wen King of the Zhou Dynasty. The so-called three kings are also, ah, yes, how great is the dictatorship of the Holy Heart, one person can settle the world! These gentlemen have no eyes on everyone, read dictatorial ancient scriptures, show their own limelight, are greedy for small profits, forget big disadvantages, insist on going their own way, and do not let the world take care of themselves. Take other people's countries to risk, and there are a few who will not lose in the end. In the past three generations, there have been many such vulgar politicians, and none of them have survived the country. When the country falls into their hands, there are 10,000 reasons why it must die, and none of them can be saved. Trust vulgar politicians, lost the country, confused king, I grieve for you!
