At 2 p.m., at the Liyang Agricultural Cooperative in Linjian Village, farmers are filling the hopper with rice seeds in preparation for the annual planting season. As the planter moved slowly, ruts appeared in the paddy fields, and at the same time, seeds were scattered in the fields in an orderly manner. After five months, these golden seeds will be served to the table in the form of plump snow-white rice grains.
"The amount of seed used in this harvester will be adjusted according to the speed of the throttle, and the faster the throttle turns, the more sowing will be, and the machine is sown in strips, with better air permeability and relatively fewer pests and diseases." Agricultural mechanic Yang Jinping introduced. At present, the seeder operated by Yang Jinping can complete the sowing task of about 100 acres of land in one day, and the sowing capacity can reach 400 kilograms.
The reporter learned that the manual sowing used to adopt an extensive throwing mode, which not only had a small spacing spacing, but also was greatly affected by the wind and had many pests and diseases. Today, modern seeders combine sowing and fertilization, which can not only be used in both ways, but also use mass sowing, which is more uniform and more efficient than manual sowing.
Li Cui, head of Liyang Agricultural Cooperative, said that the cooperative's annual sowing capacity exceeded 5,000 kilograms, and the sowing area exceeded 1,400 mu. This year, the rice planting area of Linjian Village is more than 1,200 mu, and the output is expected to be nearly 700,000 kilograms.
